So as i was searching online and found these 2 bowls

Ones a metal one And i was thinking wouldnt heat managment a b!tch with that as the metal would want to conduct the heat much more than clay would
biggrin.gif It also looks alot like a shower head

The second ones is like the double headed bowl but instead it has comparments ,wouldnt that also have a effect on heat managment??

based on reviews on this forum, the split bowl sucks.

i have a stainless bowl.. its okay because it doesnt break but it doesnt hold much shisha.
im gonna buy a regular egyptian clay/ceramic bowl very soon so i can stopo using my stainless.

IMO I've found in general that Glass/Pyrex bowls do a better job in conducting heat all around the bowl for a nice cooked puck of shisha at the end. The Funnel bowls that are out are very heavy and dense and take a little while to heat up to "bake" so to speak, but glass seems to do so quicker and stays hot much longer. So in terms of heat management try them out. I've used both these as well, I didn't like the steel one, due to the small amount of shisha, I only had about 25 or so minutes before it started charring, and with the other one, it is a novel idea but since you are moving coals around to do the heat management, sometimes you don't get a mix but rather too much of one and not enough of the other. It's better to just mix everything in a bowl thoroughly from the get go, there really is no point in having separate chambers it just takes away from the amount you can pack.
