chinamon
ive never mixed flavours before so im curious as to how to do it.when i get my order from AFonline i want to mix grape and mint. ive been told to use about 1/4 bowl mint and 3/4 bowl grape because i dont want the mint to over-power the grape. do i actually mix the tobacco? or do i put the mint on bottom? or on top? stryet
Mix it together to avoid surprises...If you layer it, you'll get subtle flavor intensity fluctuations, which might or might not be delightful. And those Canary coals...awesome.
racemyghost
ya, just take how much of each tobacco you want, put it on the table/plate/etc and mix it all together so like its one. Then put in the bowl as you would with a single flavor. One suggestion if you are going to mix the grape and mint, only use about a pinch of mint, not 1/4. That will be too much.As far as Canary coals, im a guy whos always and only used natural finger coals (like 5 yrs now) and i just tried the Canary real jap coals and they are awesome. Dont have to ash it, heat stays consistant and easy to light new ones. Down fall, they dont last as long as my Manara brand finger coals but who cares, you can light up 4 pieces in like 2mins top. Another downfall, they cost about $10 as opposed to my manara which are like $5.
