Hookah Lounge, Cajun Style

Recommended Posts

So i'm in Louisiana visiting my grandparents and throwing a party for my cousin who is getting married. I drive downtown to a local Lebanese joint and get some food. On the way back I see a Hookah Lounge, this is odd, I had no clue they had these in this town but obviously they do. I stop in to check it out. The have a small bar. Behind it there are Mya Acrylics and a few other hookah's, they look fine. They were serving Romman Tobacco (I picked up a box, its not bad at all) So far, everything was fine. Here is the funny part.
Along with the hookahs the cafe was serving up delightful dishes like Seafood Gumbo, Crawfish Etoufe, Jambalaya, etc etc. I have seen it all now. Hookah and Cajun Food haha, I laughed quite a bit when I saw this. Crazy Crazy, but evidently it is a hit here in Lafayette, Louisiana haha.

Take care,
Michael

I'm sorry Husky, next time i'll let you know. LOL, actually, I just got done eating some Crawfish etouffe at the house with my hookah lol. I was making fun of it earlier then I go home and do it. New Orleans, man last time I was there was with the military during Katrina, it wasn't a pretty site. How is it now?

Ahh, I remember there was a Navy ship docked there. There was the quite attractive Navy Officer who drilled out my cavity and sealed a couple teeth while I was deployed there. I had to take advantage of the free dental ya know haha. Yah, it stunk bad there, that's enough to make you go nuts.

oh wow! I live in Lafayette, and I never knew we had one here.

What is the name and where is it located?

thanks,

Gowmars

PS: Mona's cafe, its off of ambasador caffery in the same parking lot at Bennigans across from the Mall. They sell a variety of shisha and carcoals. Edited by Gowmars
