zimbopimp
What is the purpose of the one way valve on all hookahs? My valve seems to have rusted over, is it essentual that it works?
MechAnt
Its not essential but its mainly for multihose hookahs in that of only one person is drawing, all the other hoses dont have to be plugged as they draw. Just for some convinience. If you are referring to a PURGE valve, that's just when you blow into it, it'll purge your chamber of harsh or nasty smoke. Again, just for convinence. Sonthert
Yeah, some of them perpetually leak, so maybe rusted shut is the best thing!
degs
I always l liked blowing and listening to the purge valve, makes me think there is a rattlesnake in the hookah lol.
HookahPrincess
well the valve helps if the smoke gets a little harsh you just blow out of the valve for a bit and things seem to be a little better. Sometimes when the ball rusts and the valve doesn't work you just gotta take the ball out and clean it then put it back and screw the valve back on and it'll make it work again. Pretty easy to fix
mrmonk7663
What I did is get a metal ball/BB that is used for slingshots. It was slightly larger than the one the hookahs come with but it would still seal. Basically, it is impossible for this to rust shut inside the hole now.Later,Michael
