Did I Get The Right Glycerin?

Recommended Posts

So wanting to try this glycerin-adding jazz, I just skipped out to the local Rite-Aid and got this:
RITE-AID
Skin Protectant
GLYCERIN
USP

(on the back)

Glycerin 99.5% Anhydrous

With other labels as well.
Is this the right stuff? It doesn't make any mention of being animal or vegetable. It's a viscous, syrupy clear liquid with no smell and feels warm. (Since glycerin is supposed to be hygroscopic, that should be it pulling moisture rapidly from my skin, right? I've heard it's supposed to taste sweet, but I can't get up the nerve.) It doesn't have any warning labels against ingestion, so it should be safe. Right?

i got the same stuff when i was trying to make my own shisha. the flavor turned out well but the smoke was pretty slack so i figured i got the wrong kind. try adding honey on the inside of your bowl or to your shisha too, its splenderiffic.

Could not agree more!

I allways use a little natural honey and a little glycarin mixed together.

Makes it a little sweet, but does not seem to destroy the flavour of the tobacco as much.

And works a real treat when getting nahkla a little more moist!

USP is like United States Pharmucopia or some such thing. That should work for you...make sure it has no added smell or such.

That would be some funky tasting shisha with the added chemical smell, lol.
