El Basha grape review

Recommended Posts

I'll be sure to steer clear of this sh*t. Thanks for the warning ;)

At my local market where I buy my stuff from, Nahkla and El Basha are
the same price, so I figured their quality was somewhere close to
Nahkla, not that anything is wrong with Nahkla, but its just not my cup
of tea.
This is absolutely the WORST ma'assel I have ever tried.
Have you ever tried Nakhla Mixed Fruit? That stuff is pretty wierd tasting too. Maybe the two could rank the same.
I'v described the grape as smoking a grape tootsie roll...
Now you say it tastes like a grape tootsie roll, but does that mean you
also don't like it? I kinda like grape tootsie rolls. Still not sure if
that means I'll start buying nahkla again, but we'll see.. :)

I started on Nahkla brand and I have to say I really enjoyed their
melon (cantelope). So don't think I still hate nahkla, I just think for
a little more money, you can have better.

I would eat a tootsie roll, but I dont think I'd smoke one!
oh, and alen, I did look at the box and its made by Nakhla, its their ultra light crap. You were right again! I have also lost my remaining respect for Nakhla for even making this stuff....I'm so disgusted, I cant even tell you.

I think the "nasty" you are tasting is the result of that "floral background. If you have ever tried the EL Basha Jasmine, you will know exactly what I mean. I'm thinking they do that to give the impression of "lightness." Playing on senses: Grape= flowers=lightness. Mixed fruit=toxic waste=fined by the EPA.
Now, I've heard that the grape in the Jars are much better and I am half-tempted to try my luck. After all, I do load a bowl of the grape periodically (I guess to see if I'm still alive).

Ohh I love the grape flavor. I always seem to have Al Waha grape on
hand whenever I have tobacco. The only other grape flavors I've tried
are Al Amir, and Al Fahker. I have to say the Al Fahker is the best for
me out of the three, but Al Waha is so reasonable at 5.99 for 250g's.
Al Amir is a solid medium.

But yeah, because of the reviews grape is getting from Al Basha/Nahkla, I think I'll just steer clear of it...

Heh, Didn't say I would smoke the grape again if i didn't have to, just said it was at least smokaeable. And i meant POP not ROLL, was late.
The Nakhla Melon is just fine however, I smoke a bowl of that every thursday at the only hookah cafe here in townn before SCA meetings.
