Syrian Hookah

Recommended Posts

I found this syrian hookah on jandrhookahs.com/bluesyrianhookah-p-49.html . it llooks pretty solid to me, solid brass core. i emailed them to ask about it and they also informed me its fully able to dismantle into 3 stem pieces, an unsrewable downstem, and a few other pieces.  i think it looks pretty nice blink.gif  was thinking about buying it a way down the road if i could work up the money.

what all you guys think?

Seems a bit too expensive for a one-hoser. Other than that, it looks pretty nice. Edited by Big Boss

yeah myas are pretty high quality but its not every day that I find a solid brass core hookah. the only ones i can think of are the Khalil Mamouns, Al Fakher, and this one.

ohhh, well i personally would go with a Khalil Mamoun then, i dont know if they come apart. my mya bohemian comes apart into many pieces

well yeah all myas come apart quite nicely, but ot my understanding, the shaft itself unscrews into 3 pieces, the parts that look like teardrops. if the hose ports are able to be dismantled as well, i wonder if you could get a 2 hoser option on that pup...

oh wow, thats quite thorough. well word is the syrian breaks down exactly liek that, just where your grooved part of the shaft that split into two is, that part breaks into 3 on the hookah.

ohhh, well if its worth the price to you i would go for it

That is WAY too expensive for a single-hose hookah, brass core or no. Especially when you can get a KM for about half (or less). I just can't see spending that kind of money (don't forget shipping) on a hookah unless there is something EXCEPTIONAL about it.

i reckon get the syrian brass pipe. its looks like a cast brass pipe which wld stand up to a beating alot more than a KM. Km's dun break into sections aswell, which can be a pain to bring ard. easier cleaning as well. i really dun like mya stems cause it seems to look like they gave u a pretty outer stem to cover the ugly inner tube. only thing is mya's customer service is pretty awesome. a large KM u can't go wrong but the best pipe i've ever had was a 20inch syrian.

The engineer looks like a common chamber, which can't be cleaned out, anyhow, and will eventually make the pipe unsmokable. Why is being disassembled important? It makes no difference. It adds more threads to get stripped, more pieces to be damaged or lost, but how does it really improve anything? Nobody's hookahs smoke better than mine and they are all a mish-mash, but they are all one piece brass (a couple of steel ones) pipes.

its an "open heart" on the shank where the smoke collects. you know the part where the downstem starts? where that comes out of the shank there should be small drilled holes that connect to your hose plug and lets smoke go to you when you draw on the hose. open hearts make that hole so large its just one large chamber for smoke to be pulled through.
if you have a mya (i know the QT has them, dont know about the other models), look at where the downstem comes out. then look at an egyptian or syrian you have.
