SafeSearchOff Posted August 4, 2007 Share Posted August 4, 2007 alright heres the plan while you wait for a replacement base.get parchment paper, cut big enough a piece to cover the hole considerably, hot glue it in place, make sure its airtight, you may actually want to use 2 layers to be safe, make it as taught as possible.measure the diameter of the widest part of the stem, where the open heart is.cut a perfect circle i through the layers of parchment paper about 1/4er of an inch less in diameter than the first measurment.carfully place your stem after adding water, and then use like half a roll of electrical tape to seal the stem to the parchment paper.congrats, you just macgyvered your mya QT.estimated time w/o glue set-in, 20 minutes.
