I always wet mine thoroughly and the stem slides on and off quite easily At any rate its not the first ive heard of QT glass breaking easily =/ After reading several members posts of breaking mya glass Ive been paranoid and taken great care handling both my mya bases.......no disasters yet.....knock on wood. I was just pulling out the stem and blam-o the top piece is out and little chunks of glass are on my bed. Thats intense though, for it to just break clean off. I've never seen glass break like that.. ever. Ceramic maybe, but never glass. Maybe there was something in the mix that tainted the glass, making it weaker. I dunno. Still sucks though. I ended up getting some water in my hose and the shisha just tasted bad. I dont know if it was because of the coals, or the water level, but it just wasnt very good. Either H-S fucked it up, or the USPS did, but I´m starting to get pissed off now. Especially since I ordered it EMS, thinking it would come faster. I live in sweden, and they first sent the package to singapore, then back to USA, and right now I´m just waiting from a response from h-s.Whats the point in 30´C+ when your hookah is lost? Worked quite well but the pulls took a lot and got hardly any smoke. But it did last for a good 45 minutes before i had to leave.
