What Exactly Are Bohemian Hookahs?

Recommended Posts

Hello all! I just joined up here and am interested in purchasing a Bohemian hookah because of my family's ancestry and because I like hookahs.

Can anybody tell me what exactly makes a hookah Bohemian?
Is it just because it is from the former land of Bohemia in Czech Republic?
What are the advantages/disadvantages of a Bohemian vs. Egyptian/other hookah?
Any advice on where I can purchase a good one for under $100?

Thanks a lot for any help!

ill assume its the glass that makes it a bohemian, mine says the glass was made in romania, i believe that the cut and engraving in the glass makes it bohemian, not sure 100% but i love my bohemian mya, this is the one i have, http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y7/lilbro...an/S5000828.jpg

Yes, more or less. Romania is also on the job.

Bohemians are more expensive. Functionality is the same.

It's all about what style you like. I personally like the classic look or a classic look with a slight modern twist (like Myas). A hookah is a hookah is a hookah. Some are made better than others, but other than that, it's all about what look you like.
