JonDubya
I received my order from HC yesterday; Tangiers Medium Funnel & Smiley's Mod. But instead they sent me a Tangiers large regular bowl. They're fixing it, but it still pisses me off since I wanted to take it with me next week.On a greater scale, however, I've been seeing a lot of threads about people getting their orders fucked up when placed through HC. I want to know what's up with that and if I should look elsewhere for future needs?
SafeSearchOff
i don't think thats necessary. i have ordered from HookahCompany twice now, and my order hasnt been fudged both times. i think they just have retards packaging now and then, but in the long run it always gets fixed. they have a really extensive selection, too. JonDubya
Another thing that makes me wary of ordering from them is the page where you enter your CC info is not secure. Meaning your CC information is being transmitted across the Internet for any prying eyes to see.

lazria
That's strange - with both the cc page and the vendor - I've ordered from them many, many times - every last time was fine and peachy. They are in my top 3 vendor list... hum? Update: i just went thru 3/4'ers of an order and I got the "secure" symbol on the bottom of my browser window. I wonder why you didn't? Glottis2
I have ordered from them a few times in the past, only one hiccup... they sent me the wrong kind of shisha (AF eskadarani apple instead of layalina, I ordered layalina and they accidentally sent me the more expensive AF kind) but they fixed it quickly and without hassle. I will likely order from them again, as they are the only place I can find that gives good details on the construction of the hookah and sells Khalil Mamoon stuff. blacklabelqlewis
a friend and i ordered from them about a month ago and they messed a few things up on the shisha as well. i ordered tangiers f-line cocoa and got apple, and we never got the havana grape that was supposed to be free with the order. they said their records show apple tangiers was selected though. i think he said they sent him a 250g box of fusion when he only selected the 50g one too Edited August 3, 2007 by blacklabelqlewis
symptom CY
Jeez. It seems like they have at least a 50% error rate. They've screwed up more than half my orders...

I wonder why you didn't?what do you mean the secure symbol? all i see is just a equifax 256 encryption thing wich you cant click through to see if its authentic. i wish it was like hookah-shisha were how over there you click the secure symbol and you see the company and all its info. JoeLipinski
The type of encryption that they and all websites use to encrypt the page is called SSL (Secure socket layer). If you are running firefox you can right-click on the page then click "view page info" then click the tab labeled "Security". Although their pages for viewing products, site info is not using SSL, their shopping cart which as someone else said redirects to an e-commerce portal (101highway.com) that does force the user to use SSL in order to prevent any preying eyes reading data (which usually applies to info transmitted over wifi or if someone has managed to connect directly to your modem/router/switch/hub). I have never had any problems with HC but the last time I ordered from them was about 6 months ago.Forgot to say: you probably told your browser not to tell you when you are viewing a page with a SSL certificate, so that is why your page did not tell you that they had a SSL certificate Edited August 14, 2007 by JoeLipinski
markchan
hoenstly i will never ever order from them again. 3 days and counting to answer a e mail about a order they bunged up. i came to a compromise with them in it, but they just do not want to pay intl shipping and are finding all sorts of ways to get out of it. i am pissed off
