Nour Natural Fingers Acting A Little Funny

Recommended Posts

So my friend and I purchased a bag of Nours to prepare for a party we had last night.  I instantly decided Nour because that pretty much is the industry standard and everyone raves about them but I've noticed a funny thing about them.  When the ash, they let off these little rocks.  Not just a couple but quite a few.  Its weird.  Nour packs rocks into their fingers to make weight and save some money and is it normal?  Or did the place we bought them from pack their own fakes?  They are really easy to break too but I've been thinking that is natural from extruded coal. i've noticed the same thing with Nour. Not a lot (which is what it sounds like you're saying), but a few, and not every time.

I've never taken the time too look at them once they've cooled down, but the don't seem like they'd be big enough to add weight to save money...

nour is like that. i take it because it is pressed the natural parts of the coal are small chopped up chunks of coal with powdered coal as a grout to keep them together. this causes the fine coal to turn into regular ash while the chunks turn into "pebbles" which if you smash it will be ash.

i got 2 bags from one store, only one roll i have used gave me no "pebbles" all the rest chosen randomly from each bag has given me the "pebbles" so i take it as normal. it may just be that one or maybe few batches that have this who knows.
