josie279
Hi, Im about to order my first hookah and i have a few questions.Amongst the brands.. which are the lowest in nicotine level, and from what i've herd more "washed out"Also, how is Naklah tobacco based on flavor, buzz, etc... Is it dry, or is it "washed out"How about Al Fakher? And if you are smoking with say 2-4 people, how much of a 50g tobacco flavor will you use.. the whole thing or half or wat? Thanks so much, sorry for all the questions
EternalSoil
Welcome to the forum! Tobacco review section would be a good place to start. Lowest level i know of is Starbuzz, there are others but i dont remember which. Highest is probably Tangiers. Nakhla is up there close to Tangiers, but it's more sticky rather than wet like Tangiers is. Al Fakher is not my favorite but i have only had a hard flavor to master, strawberry. Box says .05% which is the same as Starbuzz. As far as number of people it really depends on the people. when i smoke by myself i probably have the rate of 2-3 people just relaxing. A normal bowl is about 15-20 grams on a standard egyptian bowl i think. you want to load up the bowl so the tobacco doesnt quite touch the screen/foil. make sure you rotate coals, i assume you will probably be using quicklights. 1.5 to 2 33mm QL should do just fine and probably last about 45 mins to an hour.hope this helped! stryet
With 2-4 people, I've had 50g boxes of Romman and Al Waha go about 4 bowls, but I like to save. Brand is very important here. Some brands, like Fantasia, which I personally don't reccomend, are very wet and you use more of the box (it's soaked in glycerin, which i think makes the weight). Yeah, check the reviews, try stuff out, and you'll definitely find your brand.Al Fakher, my brand of choice, is "washed," but I still get a pretty good buzz going from it (plus I take really big hits). I've heard Al Amir is pretty mild, but some don't reccomend it. I'm still going to try based on what MechAnt said about Kiwi Watermelon a few threads back. Experiment and have fun!Happy smoking! chinamon
Unwashed:TangiersRommanNakhlaAl WahaAbu HithamWashed:Al AmirAl FakherLayalinaStarbuzzHavanaFumariHookah Hookahmy preference for tobacco is definitely Al Fakher. it is moderately priced for a good quality product. if you want the more expensive premium stuff then starbuzz would be a good choice but is roughly double the price of Al Fakher. Layalina also seems to be a brand of choice amongst many smokers on this forum.how many bowls you get out of a 50g box depends on the size of the bowl. id say an average bowl holds about 15-25g of tobacco. this is where the math classes come in handy. Hearsay
This doesn't answer your questions directly, but it might help. If you buy Al Fakher get Golden Apple Eskandarani, it's great. Nakhla has some good flavors and some bad, check the review section for more specifics (although remember that everyone's taste varies). Do yourself a favor too, and buy some Tangiers even if you are going for a lighter buzz, the flavor is really something.
SafeSearchOff
lowest nic level is SoEx, which i believe is 0%. Its also pretty nasty.how much shisha you use is dependent on the size of your bowl, and the size of your bowl determines duration.small bowl or shallow bowl, 1 hour. bigger bowls last longer, but require more shisha.nakhla is good but is unwashed. buzz is very good, flavor is just mild though.Al Fakher is great. i love it. Ask all the questions you want! That's why this community is here! My personal favorite is Layalina. They have pleasant, accurate flavors with tons of smoke. As for 50 grams, it depends on how long you smoke. Me and my buddy go through like 75-100 grams a session. So, it depends on how much you smoke and how long. Hope this helps.TX
Sonthert
Hi. If I were going to smoke something other than my brand, it would be Nahkla. With Fumari in there for those fancy days. Sonthert
Yeah something like [SMOKE TANGIERS]that. It seems that [SMOKE TANGIERS] a number of companies for one reason or another claim nicotine but have it all removed. Most frequently [SMOKE TANGIERS] its with companies that used to make unwashed tobacco and changed to washed. (Starbuzz, Layalina). Starbuzz' new packaging describes a low nicotine tobacco. There is a distinctive difference between smoking something with nicotine in and something without nicotine in [SMOKE TANGIERS]. The difference should be noticeable. Yeah, that subliminal thing, man, thats kinda kooky...won't work.

waffle
Definately consider Safesearchoff's favorite brands and Chinamon's list of washed and unwashed. If your looking for taste and buzz go with Tangiers or Al waha. If just taste and no buzz, Laylina, Starbuzz, and Hookahhookah are best. Be sure to check out the Tobacco reviews though. Good luck!!Peace -Waffle
