Looks nice

Outline looks too sharp, meaning you can see the areas which we selected with the pen tool

I actually did the whole thing with the polygon lasso tool, lol...I was quite bored today I thought it looked a little too sharp, also, and I am going to go back and smooth it out later. It's actually something I created from bits and pieces of a larger picture I am working on. A caterpillar/hookah pic, a la Alice in Wonderland X] That one will be more realistic-looking, tho. This was more of an instant gratification thing

That's nice! =] I especially like the smoke effect on the second one.

I thought about using an existing image of a hookah to get the silhouette, but then I decided not to. I've been photo-editing so much this year, and I wanted the challenge of doing it all by hand....just to see if I still can >_< lol

Heh, and youre pretty good!

I like it. In the future try using the pen tool to create paths. It's much more controllable than the lasso tool. Also, when you convert your path as a selection, add a one or two pixel feather to smooth things out a little. Keep up the good work...
