That's excellent! I like how you did the background; it adds interest, without distracting from the subject =]

You should play around with the Diffuse Glow filter, in Distort. It's my favorite tool when messing around with "people pictures" wink.gif

Haha! I now that I've taken a second look, I see that the stomach is the same. I guess the background plays tricks on your mind, eh?

edit: Have you ever thought about becoming a graphic artist? Edited by Big Boss

its cool man. Photoshop?
I haven't gotten into shop much. I use fireworks for most graphic work. So, I might not know how the terminology transfers, but something to consider - use a very light blur on the very edges of where you edited her, like where the hair was cut out and where the body shows obvious clash with the background. It'll sort of feather her and make her stand out without it looking awkward.

Otherwise good stuff. Its always fun to experiment

And as for different monitors, don't stress. It happens regardless of what you do. You could make awesome stuff on your desktop and colors will look a little different on your laptop and vice versa. But remember that these little things you scrutinize only apply to you as the artist. Other people don't really notice.

Left: sober.
Right: after three beers.

Awesome job, I used to mess around with PS but never had the time. It's a fun app to use though, esp. with the right set of brushes you can work magic and it doesn't take too much effort, just a little creativity wink.gif
