Rare Find At Local Smoke Shop...

Recommended Posts

Saw these over-sized bowls at my local shop. They seem kinda' cool.
The one next to the lighter is quite a bit smaller than the two in the case.
The two in the glass case are flat-out HUGE, i'll try and get better pics, with scale reference when I go back.
Anyone used or seen these in person/online?

Looking at the pics now that they're posted they almost appear to be all the same size.
Trust me, the ones in that case are 'HUGE'...the one next to the lighter may fit inside of it. Edited by MatthewLee

I know that Social Smoke has bowls that are the same shape/design. Can't say how big they are, though.

they hold a shit load of shisha, we use those at work. we charge bout 30 bucks for it, but it is a good 6 hour smoke if you just pile on the coals, so it is worth it
right nowi have the size down from that, and this bowl takes a little more then 50 grams to fill

yeah, the social smoke bowls are big. I think the small is a large and the rest are rediculious. The one next to the lighter is a Medium and the two in the glass case are Large. I haven't seen a large but the Medium is BIG! There is one downsize to teh SS bowls, it takes forever to get the bowl hot.

No, I think they have tons of lighters at most smoke shops.

Looks like the new Social Smoke bowls that are supposed to be inspired, at the very least, by Tangiers bowls. The general design isn't new...I have one in my stash from long ago, before Social Smoke ever started making them...The bowl is too shallow for its depth, from what I can ascertain from that picture. I think its made in China... Edited by Sonthert

Looks like a SS bowl to me too... Can't say I like the SS bowl's though, all they ever do is burn whenever I use em.... even with one coal on there the shisha burns because of how shallow it is or something sad.gif Oh well......

I bought this in a shop a while back for $10. It IS from Social Smoke and it says RK on the side, which stands for Red Kastle, which is a whole SS line that is opening up. It's not THAT great....6 hours....no way. It lasts about 2 hours and burns fast....pain in the ass because you have to keep tending to it.

yeah with the socialsmoke bowl i HAVE to rotate the coal around the bowl to get it going good and burn evenly.

Any possibility they are the x-larges? We carry the large and mediums here and occasionally the x-large because a buddy of mine loves them. They would definitely be a long smoke if it werent for the giant air pocket in them. They tend to heat up way to much. Ive also had a few that leak juice through the sides of the bowl, like its sweating shisha juice lol. Not bad bowls though we charge 5, 8 and 15 for them if I remember correctly.

SS bowls are all over AZ. I have seen them at some really nice shops and also run down old shops. SS did a good job at getting their product out to every tobacco shop possible around here. In fact, I was in phoenix yesterday buying a cigar and they had starbuzz, some egyptians, and bowls and I went up to the owner and asked if he got his stuff from SS.. He said that would be the one.
