nicayotte
Please post if you think other and reason whyPersonally i feel that we should have it in Chicago due to the fact it is a central location in the US and also has a very common international airport(O'Hare) where most people if any form out of the US can arrive easily
Halon2
Denver!!!It's almost in the middle of everything.TYLER
EternalSoil
wow. split 5 ways right now.denver is not in the middle of everything, its not even in the middle of Colorado. kansas would probably be be optimum as far as right int he middle of the US. but there are at least 2 online stores that ship out of somewhere in texas that would prolly let us chill at! HS anyone? Edited August 11, 2007 by EternalSoil
nicayotte
Lets try and keep it on track and in a very popular city, CHI, NY and possibly DALLAS TX are some examples
EternalSoil
i put in my vote. but this is highly unlikely to pull through with more than about 5 people i think. most peopel dont have the time and definately not the money to fly/drive someplace like that. i could ride down to Texas but i work weekends and wouldnt get to dalas till as early as 10pm. then i would have to turn right around and go back to get home at 2am. just my .02. web250_is_mad
New york. It has fantastic convention space, and 3 major airports in its vicinity, including JFK, an international airport to serve out of country fliers (ie: UAE, other middle east countries)

Allia22
Yeah, we passed a bunch of them on the way to Dhuwan. I saw my first birdman!!! XDAnd why the hell weren't you at the meetup? MeMyselfAndMark
I persoally think Dallas would be AMAZING! Not only because I live 10-20 minutes away depending on traffic, but it is a much more centralized location compared to CA or NY
Sonthert
And Fumari, TheHookah.com, PimpyourHookah, Starbuzz, King Moassel, tons of big wholesalers who would kick down. The biggest retailers are all in TX or CA. The Los Angeles Hookah "Market" is enormous. You could take two weeks driving all over L.A. to see it all. There's also 15 lounges in San Diego, Mexico and 18-21 drinking is just 25 miles south AND I guarantee I'll be there...er here.Edit: We also have an international airport, the Pacific Ocean and a dumpy motel right next to Tangiers. I think I could talk them down to $5/Hr... Edited August 11, 2007 by Sonthert
Johnny_D
Well I voted New York. For us International boys it is cheaper to get to NYC than pritty much any other us destination. But Tangiers makes an interesting point.JD
ghostofdavid
I'd rather get punched in the face than ever visit Chicago (I know, most of you are volunteering for face punching duty). Didn't the Chicago meet up only have 3 people show up? I can't visit Texas because they insist I have a warrant out for my arrest. How about Columbus, Indiana?! BAHAHAHAHHA! PERFECTION! blueyesopn
QUOTE (taiwontonboy @ Aug 11 2007, 09:29 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>hahaha, Texas state troopers?? i sure do hate me some state troopers.but to keep on the subject, lets have it in texas trxas has a shit load of convention centers right out side of dfw airport. for example, the gayloard, wich has a realy nice out doors area.and i know atleast 15 hookah bars in the dfw area. there was 4 alone on one street in denton. as for costs, costs for most things are cheeper in texas then in both new york and cali, i mean, realy guys, you are not the most afordable places in the us. and just think of food costs alone... prity sure if we give every 2 people a brisket, trhey can eat for days. tsm29
I'd actually go to this if it was in New York, I'm in the village almost everyday. I'm sure I'd learn some pointers aswell I could hop a plane to Cali with some friends too, I'd be down for either. talksrealfast
I said SD, and I live in Boston so it has nothing to do with easy travel. San Diego is the friggin' best city on the planet, and if you want to have a chill time and just relax and have a good vacation too, go there. That's why I voted for it. Hanging out with a bunch of hookah lovers would just make the experience of vacationing there all the better.
Hannibal
I voted for SD, all my extended family live in cali, so I could fly over from ATL basically wheneva......I would say we could meet up in one of the dakotas.....i mean we could all chip in like $5 when we get there and buy 300 acres to go smoke on. Just a thought....................................and we could buy a Moose. Or two.
