talksrealfast
I just in my new Mya Hookah (http://tinyurl.com/yu78ny) after a long vacation and I'm pumped to use it, but can't get the stem screwed into the base...thing. The male threads on the stem just don't screw into the underside of the base...thing (i don't know what it's called, but it's the piece that all the hoses go into, the stem goes into, the valve is on, etc). Oddly enough, the stem screws on top of the nucleus (that's what I'm calling it now) but not the underside where it belongs. I feel like the threading is too widely cut or something. I wanted to check to see if anyone has had this issue before, or if I'm doing something wrong and I'm just being dumb before I send an email to MNHookah about it.Thanks guys, and sorry for being gone so long - summer and vacation will do that to a guy. EternalSoil
that picture looks like the stem is hovering over the base. and that the base doesnt have th enormal part that the stem screws onto. weird.

I'm just going to send those guys an email and see what's up - maybe they'll have an idea of what's going on, but if anyone has had this issue in the past, I'd still be curious to hear about it.
