Sonthert
I have in the past advocated buying Egyptian pipes for value. No more. I've seen the future of Egyptian pipes and it is grim.Kemo pipes are polished, uncoated steel. Well put-together, but crummy uncoated steel. Other manufacturers: broken hose ports, out-of-round hose ports, metal burrs, metal shavings, smaller and thinner downstems, worse and worse coatings...its awful. The jars are getting worse and cheaper, too. As it was put to me Egyptian companies are "Racing to the bottom" quality has continued to deteriorate...is it any reason why Khalil Maamon hookahs continue to increase in sales? Note, Khalil Maamon is switching from brass core to all steel. Check out the Hookah Company's Amer...brass core...last of a dying breed...until the price of brass goes back down...Hookah Company's 35" Blue and 36" Red hookahs are all steel...well put together steel, and well-constructed jars, which I can't say about a lot of these pipes I'm seeing. The tri-metal is supposedly brass core...I can't tell, but it is quite attractive. What do I recommend? Hookah Company's Amer, Hookah-Shisha's Glyph one hose...I'll do some research and get back to all of youse. nicayotte
Yea i noticed the same thing when i received my pyramid hookah, burrs and other stuff and also that the paint was very cheap. I am glad i got a really nice brass one before they disappeared.

SafeSearchOff
brass hookahs will never disappear as long as we keep making them/demanding for them methinks. they may start going for large premiums though...
