Barren's Hookah Seesion

Recommended Posts

Nakhla delivers a pretty strong buzz. And yes, it is normal. You can go with "washed" (less nicotine) brands like Al Fakher and you'll get less lightheadedness.

And only wash your hose with water if it is washable, i.e., no leather or metallic parts that can rust. Run wather through it, give it a shake, repeat, and dry it before smoking again. You can do this once a week or if you want to switch between strong flavors (cappuccino and fruit). If you're smoking the same tobacco, just blow hard through it after every session.

Serious? Than what about some other people in here saying that BBQ coals are the most purest of carbon that I can get? dry.gif

heh whoever told you that is trying to kill you... i would reccomend either getting natural coals from one of the vendors around here... or having a fire and using coals from the fire... or if you like buy some quicklites... hell give www.pimpyourhookah.com a looksie... they have some deals on shisha that come with coal..

yes what was said is true, it is the purest form of carbon you can get ONLY IF it is all natural coals. none of the kingsford crap. you go get something which is just the wood burned and not something which is processed. there is a difference between "BBQ Coals" and "BBQ Coals". so use lump charcoal

dont use

what kind of BBQ coals are you using? BBQ coals over here in the West arent nearly as close to what we think are BBQ coals in the East. My bet is that barren is actually using natural coals, and its the standard for BBQing in Malaysia (sp?).

to be safe, post a pic, and possibly, the packaging (with translation of any important notes on it).

edit: also, how do you start the coals? in the US it takes massive amts. of lighter fluid to start up coals, and it doesnt seem like your doing that, so it seems to get safer by the minute... Edited by SafeSearchOff

he has smoked it and hasnt died yet so im fairly sure its not the bbq coals we are thinking of. i posted visuals of which of them are bad and which are fine so you should be able to figure it out easily. by his description of how it ashed and how it smells im almost 100% certain he is using bulk coal which is natural which is perfectly safe to use on a hookah.
