Cleaning The Funnel Mod

My funnel gets a good layer of shisha juice cooked onto it after each session, my dishwasherdoesnt seem to do any good.

Anyone have a secret to getting these things nice and clean?

You try boiling it?

Boil it with water and baking soda for about 10 minutes, the stuff comes off pretty easily with a spatula

A good preventative measure you can take is to coat the mod liberally with vegetable oil. Try not to use Olive oil cause it burns at high temps and adds a taste. I love cooking so I know the oils well

i use a knife edge to clean the mod. I scrape away all the black burnt crap and rinse it under hot water. It might scratch the mod somewhat, but i dont mind.

i just scrub mine with a dishrag, i mean its black as night but it doesnt affect the smoking one bit...why do you want yours clear?

Just scrub, scrub, scrub. we line ours wth tin foil leaving the hole exposed then remove the foil after use. little cheat to avoid cleaning.
