Hookahcompany Delivery Wait Time

I placed my order last weekend, and have been checking every day to see if my order has been moved from being 'approved' to 'shipped'. I did a search on the forum today and realised that Hookah Company only send out International orders out every friday, and then it takes 10 days after that to get my order here.

Why don't they make this clear when you're ordering internationally? I needed my stuff before the Bank Holiday weekend (25th August) - as we're going away, and it doesn't look I will now. Will have to ask around my friends to see if I can get some supplies locally.

In the past i've ordered stuff which has taken only a few days to get here. I think the vendors I used before used UPS, and these are using USPS - can't remember there being that much difference in the delivery costs either. Think I might have to stick with them

How much you want to bet it does not go today either?

I really like hookahcompany. A LOT. But there international delivery is bloody disappointing and i refuse to wait upwards of 3 weeks before it leaves there store.

I don't begrudge the delivery time from the us to uk. It's not that bad. I don't mind when it's sitting
in the Airport waiting for a plane.

I do mind it sitting in the vendor's warehouse waiting for someone to post the damn thing.

mnhookahs normally send international within 24hrs, as does nazarhookah.

Try 3 weeks for me, only one week being actual transit time. First hookah, just try and imagine the pins and needles I was sitting on for that long >.<

they take abt 3 to 4 wks to get to australia. i waited a mth and a half once for it to get ti singapore. their response time is pretty pathetic. i honestly will bring my money somewhere else from now on.

I'm going to call them on Monday, and if they haven't shipped I will ask them to cancel my order. For such a seemingly (big) outfit they dont seem to be taking their sales very seriously. Considering how much shipping costs internationally, your average overseas buyer will probably spend upwards of $100 on Shisha alone, to make the shipping worthwhile. My order came to $130!

The best guys I used were socialsmoke.com, which took 3 days to land on my door step in the UK, but they dont seem to have as much of a range as the other guys.
