Smoking on the road is great with the Witch, all you need to do is make the "crown" thingy that the hobohookah guys do. You could also leave the hookah in your car and have a quicky if you have time in between classes and are board as hell.
I put mine in a Crush bottle though, don't want a dick cop to get me for open bottle.

i'm more after the cap rather than the screen or the actual bowl... and what's a 'phunnel'???

i know but i need something secure like the cap on that bowl in the pic... ie something that can be locked, i don't want to go over a speed hump or turn a corner and have the windscreen and all the coals fly off burning me and my car

The two different complaints I've heard is that:

1. The tobacco tends to stick to the screen.

2. In short succession, the metal wires that hold the thing down get bent and make it difficult to use (especially since hot metal expands and tends to bind). So when the thing gets hot, its real hard to open it up to adjust the charcoal.

1. i can just get rid of the screen and use foil no dramas...

I work with this bowl alot in my hookah usage. I like this bowl. I tend to close the cap when the coal is dying down and don't latch it. I placed tin foil around it because it will make an irritating rattle ( just the handle) . it work perfect with foil. the screen sucks..

any reason you don't latch it?

i finally found and bought one off ebay (cheap-ish postage)... i'm still waiting for it to arrive it's been almost a week now... so hopefully after i get it i'll test it out n try to post up some pix...

As opposed to half of the other posts, I love this bowl!

If done right so the screen isnt practically sitting on the shisha, then you dont have to worry about it burning and sticking to the screen....
The only thing I dont like about it, is you cant take it off... So the metal will start to rust if you arent careful when washing it.
That and when I take my hookah in the car with some friends and cruise through the resort town, smoking, then the wind cover will let it get a little bit too hot...
But a few drilled holes allowed it to work better.


And yes, it is a pain to open up once you latch it, but I only pop the latch over top the hook and dont close the latch handle all the way... Makes it easier to open up.
Plus like someone else said, I close the lid when the coals start to die down. It's a very easy way to manage heat and get the last out of the coals.

I concur. The bowl is perfect if you wanna take your hookah for a little joy ride, maybe pick up some chicks. Imagine the pickup lines... "Hey, baby, wanna hold this shaft while I hit it?" Edited September 9, 2007 by Tim

Yes I totally agree! I bought one a long time ago and after the first few tries I've never used it again.
