Small Funnel Hookah Question

I just ordered a small funnel hookah because Hookah Company was out of the medium ones with the smiley glass mod. The site says the mod is for medium bowls I was just wondering if I could use the mod with the small bowl too? I figure it might pop up the foil a bit but that wont be a bad thing right?

Would appreciate a quick response so I can cancel my order if needed.

it pops up the foil on the medium too. as far as i know, the inverted phunnel on both the small and the medium are the same size, so there is no difference.

I use it on a small, and it works well. Of course, I've never used it on anything else, so I dunno if I'm missing out or something.

My medium funnel is flat on the top in terms of foil, with the small, it does stick above the rim. Either case, it doesn't effect my sessions at all.

one more question i just thought of do i start a funnel bowl like a regular bowl or is there some special starting method needed. I usually smoke starbuzz or al fakher

I have a medium with a mod, my friend has a small with a mod.

The problem i have with the small and mod, is it sticks up so much that the foil is angled from the top to the sides of the bowl, and keeping coals on it is kinda a balancing act.

I purchased my first small funnel with the glass mod. It stuck up above the rim so much that I didn't even bother using it, I never have. I know a lot of people say that if you're smoking something other than Tangiers out of a funnel you should use a mod. I mostly smoke AF, Layalina and some Starbuzz, and I just use foil. In my opinion, it smokes just fine using only foil. I don't think you'll be missing anything if you don't use it.

My Tangier's Small Phunnel Bowl and Scallis Glass just came in today . I put the glass mod in the bowl and wrapped the top with foil to see how much it is angled. My mod may stick above the rim of the bowl maybe a Millimeter. Mine seems safe enough for coals. Not to bad at all. I hope this helps. I will try and post pics up later to show you guys.

If you're using QLs it should be ok. Just don't try naturals with that.

I've got the small and Scalli combo and it doesn't stick over the rim at all. It is indeed a small, the diameter is 3" flat.

has anyone else noticed mnhookahs small is actually the small, and HCs small is actually the medium and medium is actually the large? the glass mod should work on the small (medium) from HC, right?

Mine is the small from MN, also it's the Scalli mod, not the Smiley mod.

It is def the small. I ordered it from MN along with the scallis mod. They were out of the medium when i ordered mine.
