Recommended Posts

Ive realized my mini 13 inch hookah hits bigger then my 22 inch rotator... i think maybe the water level is too high or low on my rotator... but the smoke isnt as large as my mini.... is this common or am i just settin it up wrong... ive noticed the rotator is pretty silent... duz that mean too much or too little water?

Nah, it seems as if he knows how to maintain the heat/bowl. In my
opinion you might want to check all your seals to make sure you are
airtight. Try the air-tightness test. Take the bowl off. Put your hand
over the head stem to block all air from coming in. And pull on the
hose. You shouldn't be able to suck any air through if it was airtight.

If you arn't airtight and able to pull air through, check all the
joints for crappy welds. Like where they need to weld the carb and hose
pipes in, sometimes shoddy hookahs have crappy welds here and leak. If
this is the case, you can just solder it shut.

If your hookah is airtight, just remember that the water lvl should be
around an inch above the bottom of the stem, in any hookah. And thats
all I have for now. If I think of something, I'll let you know. I'm
sure other guys on here might have more ideas.

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't rotators screw in vases? That's
something that I overlooked before. Tighen the vase on as much as
possible WITHOUT BREAKING SOMETHING!!! There is nothing worse than a
broken hookah.

In these situations, my main culprit were leaky hoses. God, I hate it when my hose leaks. Quick check without disconnecting anything is: While smoking, and your water chamber is full of smoke, gently blow in your hose and see if any smoke comes out around or along the hose. Don't blow too hard or all the smoke will go out the blow valve. Just gently. This also lets you see if you have a leak anywhere else too.
