KillZedKill
Everyone loves the Vortex, I havn't gotten to use one. Most of the talk on those auto seal valves is usually 50-50. They work great, but after a while i hear they start to stick and mess up, but I dunno. I prefer the simple passing of the hose between friends, it kinda adds to the hookah effect, IMO. waterboi
I just got the single hose Mya Vortex ( smoked vase ) hookah this past week. I bought an extra hose( Nammor ) and an extra auto seal valve to make it a two hose when needed. The Hoookah smokes really well and a beautiful piece. Very nice for your first purchase. My Vortex was my first purchase also. You won't be dissappointed.
leadpipecinch21
i'm jealous of all of you that have these nice hookahs for your first...the vortex is a nice hookah, and getting the 4 hose is definitely nice, but the real nice thing is that you can easily convert it into a single hose, for when you do want to smoke alone. hookah hippie
I have found that there tends to be a correlation between number of hoses and number of problemsI find that the single hoses work much better then the multi hoses

I have two hoses and seems to do the trick. Edited August 26, 2007 by waterboi
The King
In my opinion 2 is the magic number...you still pass hoses while in a group, but it makes it so a person doesn't feel rushed like a 1 hose. After someone takes a hit another person takes on off the other hose...when we share a one hose people have to hurry to keep others happy... 2 hoses has always been enough for me

Sonthert
Single hose hookahs perform best, in my opinion, they are also more reliable and tend to work longer than multi-hose hookahs (less shit to break). You get one hose, pass it around. Simple. Alternately, get two hookahs. For that money, you could get like 3x$50 single hose hookahs.
