Scheetz Posted August 29, 2007 Share Posted August 29, 2007 So upon taking off the stem of our Mya QT the vase completely exploded in my hand. The whole top came off, the sides cracked apart and fell onto the base glass. We are sending MYA an email with pictures and will call them about it as well. The QT is 8 months old, always kept in its case and never dropped or previously chipped. For those of you who had vases explode did they replace them? BTW sheetz.. the same thing has happened to me twice.. i pulled off the stem and a corner of the pyramid blew out.. talk about POS. Mya's new glass factory sucks.. the new glass is soft, and the quality control has gone down the drain.. the qt i just bought has a wobbly base.. too bad mya doesnt give a shit because they are making money either way because the name is so popular Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

THIS JUST HAPPENED TO ME LAST NIGHT TOO!!!!! ....I was seating the stem and barely tapped the top of the vase and the entire top of the vase exploded leaving it in the stem and a broken mess in my hands!!!I JUST bought a replacement from Mya and I went ahead and ordered the Bambino too ...I have heard of this happening with QT's whether they are from Mya or ?... The quality is outstanding! I had a tear in my eye when i broke the vase...it took me about 20 seconds to order a new one for $12.00 from Mya Saray and they were the only ones that I could find on the net that had the replacement vases??I ordered the Bambino too because I have heard som much about them and I thought that I would try it!Mya's quality is insane! I have never seen quality in hookah like theirs before! Anyone who has ever owned one should be saying the same because there is a lot of junk thin metal crap out there. I'm kinda scared using mine now, but i also don't mind it breaking too much, vases are relatively cheap. But if it is happening again and again with this many different people...maybe theres a different path to mini's other than Mya that can be taken.
