Flavourless :(

I have been smoking AW with my phunnel and mod and have finally figured out what works to get the smoke thick for me ... but I am getting no flavour I am using a mya diva, phunnel with mod, foil with about 75 holes in 3 circles around the edges, 3 QL halves until it gets going and themn i knock it down to 2 halves on opposite sides ... I am using ice water in the base ... any ideas?

dank7oo: I keep going through the same thing. Very, very subtle flavor if any!!!
Not huge flavor like the ravings I read in the review section.
If and when there is a hint, it's way off!!!

Guava tasted like Strawberry/Cinnamon.
Peach like Cedar or dry tea.
Grape like childrens vitamins.
Pina Colada like plastic.
Pear like green apple meets mildew.
Blackberry, nothing.
Vanilla, little flavor/tobacco.
Honey, tobacco.

That's the disadvantage to making thick smoke. From how I've learned it works like this:

1. Conceal the heat or add alot of heat for thick smoke.
2. Less heat and concealing for proper flavor and not so much smoke.
