John Deere
Well today I went on my jaunt to Dearborn, for those of you who dont know, it is the second largest population of arabic people in the world, the first, obviously being the middle east. Well first I went to BNN import, and I was told that They couldnt sell to me because I wasnt a wholesaler, even though I called them and specifically asked if I could, and they said yes. Besides the point.... Anyway so I ended up going to a shop down the street, and It was seriously a hookah candy store. huge blass jars of ma'assel that you could take as much or little as you wanted, bowls of grommets, and a mountain of Al Fakher boxes. The person who I was with knew the owner, so he cut me a deal. I wish I had brought more money! EXCEPT they were out of the Golden Esk Apple, which is what I actually went there for. They said three weeks till the shipment from UAE comes in. damn. well I ended up with some bahraini apple and some new kind of double apple I thought id try. he said "here my friend, try dis, dis is de best" so I got some, I'll let you know how it is. And I finally found a grommet that fits perfect! MUSHRAT: I picked up your melon you wanted, pm me your address and I'll pop it in the mail tomorrow. John Deere
Yep. It's called Havana Two Apple. I have never heard of it before, maybe someone else has?
John Deere
It was funny, when I went to bnn, the woman at the desk was like "you smoke Argeela?" she was very surprised that we were looking for ma'assel. She called the owner and was like "(arabicarabicarabicAMERICANarabicarabicarabic)" Then she told us to go down the street. I saw a lot of nice hookahs when I was walking through the warehouse though! MR Bubble
Oh man, I'm envious of you! What a road trip! About as good as going to Bass Pro Shop. It's been 4 years since I last saw a hookah outside of my home! Yes, I've heard of Havana. They sell it at hookahook. I've always been curious about it. Thanks for the review. John Deere
Oh, and If you cant find it, go on the bnn import export website and find out their address, then just go there first and ask them(its like 2 minutes away from the other store), thats how we found out about it. joek
I would guess the store is "Royal Smokers Argeleh and molasses" bought me a nice heavy duty syrian hookah there yesterday, it fits the posted description of the store to a T. they are at 14216 W. Warren Ave Dearborn, MI. 48126. If you go to this "hookah candy store" do yourself a favor and make time for "The New Yasmin Bakery" about a block up the street for some great food.
