Barebones Hobohookah Deal

I just went to see if the Grey Goose bottle would fit in the cup holder of my car, and it does! Nothing like driving a couple hours to Eau Claire while smoking some shisha on the way. I think I'm going to snatch this deal up.

Anybody think if a cop saw this while you were driving if they would pull you over and get you for open bottle?

I think that bottle might be opened a few times you should see if you have a bottle thast isn't a liquor bottle that yhou could use

Yeah, it is an empty, cleaned out bottle of Grey Goose. I got word on the street that it doesn't matter regardless the condition of the bottle that it would be considered an "open bottle".

I've had no problems actually for smoking in the car with th Witch with live coals lit, I just make the crown thing that the Hobo guys do. Works out pretty nice. The thing is that it is a Crush bottle, not a grey goose one.

As for driving to Eau Claire, my gf currently goes there for school. Last time I went there I strapped my SS egyptian in the front seat and smoked it. That was not so convinient.

Try either the narrow mouth 1L Nalgene bottle or a 1L Sigg water bottle for car travel. Should be legal in all 50 states in the union. They are also rigid and easily washable.

The Hobo will also work with soda/water bottles, like 1L Coke or 1.5L Evian. Both of which should work in your cup holder. The use of these bottles it probably one of the best things about it: No matter where you go, you can find a plastic 1L or 2L coke/water bottle for cheap. Works everywhere, every time.

QM: If you are ever in Madison, the Hobo is being sold at Pipefitters now. Should check it out (its actually on a 1.75L Grey Goose bottle for display, looks really good).

I just ordered one, with shipping it was 39ish. Can't wait to try it out and compare it to the Witch.

You bet. Its a little more tipsy than the Nalgene bottle, and with a new HoboHookah the fit is pretty tight, but great for cupholders. Good bottles too. Here is a vid from our road trip, we took the Sigg and Hobo and wedged it between the e-brake and car seat. Just got my hobo in the mail. I tried it on my collection, I think the Absolut, Sailor Jerry, and Svedka bottles look sweet with the hookah. Hopefully I'll get to smoke it at the buddies house once they're moved in tonight. Even my mom thought it was neat, she said it looked "contemperary".

They can TRY and get you for open bottle. But if it is washed out, they can't. It's like them trying to bust you for open containers if you are carrying a load of glass to the recycling center. I once had a 750 ml bottle of beer I had washed out and was bringing to a friend. I got pulled for speeding and the cop asked to see the bottle. I assured him it had been washed. He smelled it, turned it over and a little water dribbled out, he said, ok, no problem.

Now, smoking a hookah made out of a vodka bottle will likely GET you pulled just on general prinmciples. May piss the cop off enough to find SOMETHING to write you a ticket for.

On a different note, and this is nothing personal, the wording on this page is about the most convoluted, cryptic, pseudo intellectual, trying to sound official and failing attempt i have read in a long time. Try speaking ENGLISH guys...

Thanks. We have to re-do that entire site, but right now its all about getting the Hobo out there and getting people to try it. So far when they do, they like the product, a lot.
