i am no longer allowed to enjoy the sweet shisha indoors.. have to go on the front porch now.. with winter rolling around nad being in ontario (canada) by the lake its going to make it a cold as hell winter.

we are moving in january i am going to take it back inside then in my room.... whatever it takes.

my mom cites health reasons... i offered to quit shisha forever if she'd quit coffee you know to see how much she actually cares about my health... stupid hypocrite wouldnt make the deal.


I grad in january i guess its finally time to move out of the house..

On the contrary your health is a concern of hers. Though if you can legally smoke she can't stop you but living in her house you should recognize her rules or move out. I personally would go with the latter.

I used to win at the casino alot i am up $ 1800 but because that psychopath thinks its bad she kept bitching about it to the point were i couldnt move out yet since im still paying for college.. so i stopped going.

Its all a superiority complex.. i plan on moving out as soon as i can, i graduate in december soo im hoping to get a job and work for maybe 4 months then buy a townhouse somewere so i can live in peace!

dude, why is it bullshit if she says its for your health? she cares. yeah, coffee is an addiction too, and the caffeine has health effects, but not nearly as bad as smoking!

smoking a hookah is us making a CHOICE, its to have liesure over long term health issues. everyone here acknowledges, yeah, so hookah is bad for us, but in the long run, we are willing to take the risk for our lifestyle. some people like ioan made a good, responsible decision to quite for his child, which i support 100%.

your mother is not just being a bitch. she may not care or show it often, but she is right now. smoking is detrimental to your health, and she is voicing her opinion on the matter. shes a mother, and she's worried about you. her being "hypocrticial" and not quitting coffee isn't her being a bitch.

if you want to solve this the civil way and not be the son who doesn't visit his parents for 11 years until your mother or father has a heart attack, just explain to your mom that making you smoke outside isnt going to solve or stop your habit. she just cares for you man, how can you not see that? yeah, we are all angry and hate our parents sometimes because it seems 'stupid' but overall they're pretty level headed when it comes to things like smoking or gambling.

yea its odd apparently im not allowed smoking in the new house either, they are also threatening to kick me out...... go figure kids doing drugs and such and not working.. were as i work full time and go to school full time pretty much + pay my own way through all of this.........

seems a little extreme to me on both ends of your threats.

looks like your parents don't know how to handle/cope with your hookah habit, so they're trying the "threat him out of it" method, which we all know doesn't work, but looks like they're desperate. try to explain it to them, how water filters better than any cig filter, lower nic levels, almost no tar, using washed shisha, non-addicting, etc.. try to let them see the (little) good...

i already did, they even perceive me to smoke the soex herbal stuff... i got like 8 boxes of that crap to prop up the illusion.

i was smoking indoors for about 5 months with my buddies/my t.v and such..


i dont know we shall see, once i have my own room again right now im in the common basement as we cant finish the basement for a year, in the next house we also cant finish it agian for a year.


bbut i mean if i put all my stuff in the basement in the next house anyway.. we shall see what happens.. also my dad still has been much of a coward and not said a word lately.

my other option is to take up smoking.. and just say well i figure if im going to be outside i might as well.... my mom hates smoking so it'd annoy her.. i wouldn't actually smoke it just have it lit when she has some guests over.. i figure one night of that and shell want me out of the front yard and back into my sweet sweet lair.......

ehh, man, just bite the bullet and dont smoke for a few months while yoo get your shit together to get out. i had to take a 5 month break after i moved to dc cause i was living with my best friend and his wife and she was afraid of the hookah. couldnt smoke it near the house or she started to flip out.
