jaker29902
in my dorm room my fridge is kinda overzealous, and freezes the shisha, this isnt really going to hurt it any is it?
SafeSearchOff
uhh, no offense, but why are you refrigerating shisha in the first place? it dries it out and i'm pretty sure it will suffer from humidity shock each time you take it out. just seal it airtight and put it in a dark, cool place like a closet. olooko
uhm, Why in the world is it in the frige to start with? I don't really know what freezing will do but ask Eric, he should have an answer for you.

If its a high-water tobacco, yes. Freezers/refrigerators are dry inside, it will quickly dry up the moisture from the tobacco and make it smoke...not. Secretly, if I have some Tangiers that is acclimated at a higher humidity and its fairly damp, I will sneak into the freezer for 12 hours, to dry it out a little...makes it smoke better. If its acclimated or the tobacco is acclimated to a drier humidity than your current conditions, it is a bad idea.Whenever I get radical and start acclimating, when everything is smoking like ass, the weather always changes and makes everything smoke even worse...its a running joke for us.Edit: I will sneak the tobacco into the freezer...although it is pretty hot in SD right now...sneaking into the freezer sounds dreamy. So 98+ Degrees outside plus no ac inside the house = hell.
