Making Some Uber Playlists

this is another music related thread...

so i'm making some super mixed tape's (really jsut burnt CD's) for my friend's new car. its the nicest car of our little clique of friends, so we use it the most.  i'm making 4 playlists i thought i'd see if anyone had more to add.

playlist 1: the EPIC playlist - Now i'm talking serious epic here.  Not like OOH this song is so good, its gotta go on the list.  I mean most songs have a Symphony, and just like seriously epic songs.  here are the current tracks as an example: ghost love score, duel of the fates, returns a king, carmina burana, clubbed to death, fairyland (band), just like you imagined, requiem for a tower, requiem for a dream

playlist 2: Gangster!! lol.  So i'm a white kid from the suburbs, but everyone's gotta represent, rollin around on them geto songs.  i don't want any run of the mill rap here. i want real gangster.  heres all i have so far:

playlist 3: METAL!!!! - Okay, not just any Metal here either, I'm lookin' at Power Metal, Speed Metal, etc.  Songs that are real heavy on riffs but fast as well, that make you want to pretty much go crazy.  heres wahts current: lots of dragonforce, master of puppets, the serpent's kiss, inferno by symphony x, raining blood, angel of death, meat sandwhich, ten thousand strong by iced earth, angels holocaust by iced earth, the mystic prophecy of the demonknight

playlist 4: Pump Up.  - So this is a pump up playlist.  its for when its a Friday night, your rollin around going to a party or anything that requires you to be excited and energetic.  Totally awesome songs, even borderline cheesy but just shit that pumpts you up.  here's what i got: rock and roll part 2, zombie nation, eye of the tiger, whoohoo, america fuck yeah, chop suey, prison song, toxicity, flash (by queen), video killed the radio star, bad habit, nitro


so, any input? mixtapes rule! lol.

Umm as for stuff I like for a playist for rolling around to get you pumped up...

Ying Yang Twinz-Half time (will get you pumped up if you like that kind of song)

Dope- Die Mother Fucker Die

Hed PE- Raise Hell

Beastie Boys- Paul Revere

I have hookah head so that's all I can think of right now, haha Sorry about the ghetto this if it offended you I just found it funny and couldn't resist not trying to be a dick wink.gif

i know how to spell it right, lol don't worry. i actually go to school in the city and we're right near the ghetto so i know how it is. i was just trying to exemplify my whiteness. also i spelt it geto because i was thinking about geto boys at the time...

edit: also, i used to have this song i downloadedo n lmewire, i was wondering if anyone by any chance actually knows the band i'm talking about. anyone who listens to like indie, would know the band i think. or emo. i forget which the band was, but they sounded indie to me.

it was called "rap medley", i've since forgotten the band name. they acoustic rapped a few songs into one, including Rough Riders' Anthem, and a couple others i cant remember. at the end of the song they're like AHHH! YO CHECK OUT THE NEW ALBUM COMING OUT SEPTEMBER and go on to make some crazy announcement saying FEAT. FEAT. FEAT. just naming random people...

if anyone can produce this song, i would make love to them.

well i listen to rap and country, wierd mix huh?

anyways, for your "gangster geto" mix there.... If you want some some really hard rap get "locc to da brain" and "40 oz and Chronic" by Brotha Lynch Hung.

And you can't have a awesome representing mix without "fuck the police" by NWA... i mean cmon, best song ever...police are such dicks here in SD...can't wait to go back to CO where they have some bigger issues to deal with then searching my car.

Then I'd say just get a bunch of good T.I songs... from Urban legend get "Motivation" "ASAP"
"Bring Em Out" "Stand UP"
from King get "Ride With me" "Top back" <<have to get top back "BankHead"

techN9ne is always good too...

and if he's got a system in his car get some crunk music like "get some crunk in your system" by lil scrappy, and "Da Blow" "Pitbull's Cuban Rideout" by Lil Jon...and above all if he has a system get "Throw it Up"

and if your lookin for a country mix i got some songs too haha

When im driving in my car with friends we listen to a WIIIIDDDDEEE range of music! Im talking Lil Wayne (rap), Damien Marley (raggea), Eric Clapton (oldies), then the rest is rap lol mostly lil wayne for some reason ..

No, he is legit, lol i think he has like 3 CD's out? One came out this year.. but yea Drinking Song, Smoking Song, Oxycotton, Acid.. he is the best drug rapper ever. Im just waiting for his Mushroom Song to come out biggrin.gif

Yeah he's definately not like Eminem... i hate eminem almost as much as kanye west...
Lil Wyte seriously raps about drugs usually though... he raps with three six a lot too
