Rani
It's 100 degrees in Los Angeles this weekend. Too damned hot to smoke, but doing it anyway. Anybody else notice that the heat is affecting flavors? There isn't a cool place in my apartment to store the stuff....... The only thing smoking well is Tangiers Orange Soda. Everything else is turning kind of blah. I may have no choice but to resort to the fridge next summer. Maybe in a great big sealed box in the bottom of the fridge with de-humidifier packs tucked in around the sealed jars of shisha? In the meantime, the heat wave is supposed to break tomorrow so I guess my answer is...... double my smoking time, use up what I have and buy more. Dekon
It should end soon, as fall's coming, or is already here. I don't know my seasons .

Sonthert
It'll be broken up by then...might get a little rain, thats about it. Its rare to see tropical storms hit Alta California (USA) because there is a cold water current that runs from Alaska down the California coast and hurricanes feed and live off of warm water currents. Occasionally a loose, collapsing rogue will make its way over here, but not too often. I remember one in the big storm of '82.

Glottis2
You could try living in AZ then coming back to LA at this time of year, then you'd be thrilled at how cool it is.BTW, record 35 days in a row with 110+ highs. Great.
racemyghost
Its been 113+ all week here in los angeles. It was 109 today though and its suppose to cool down through out the week.Ive been smoking indoors with the AC on.Hookah is definitely effected from heat and tastes horrible. The other night, it was about 90 degrees out, we rinsed down the hookah vase and stem and placed it in the freezer for about 10mins. Then filled up the vase with loads of ice and cold water. Smoke was still hot!
SomaliSmoke
Do you guys think the heat itself is affecting the flavor, or is it psycological? You yourself feel like blah as the heat gets to you and then when you smoke it affects your buzz.As in the same way you might feel smoking out doors while its freezing, you can't really enjoy it, because its freezing!? BUT I want to try my theory and see if what happened by accident is something that really will work. More news after I've tested it.'Rani
