Had To Throw Tangiers Out!

Recommended Posts

Actually, most insects are quite tasty, I hear...lobster and crab are relatives, after all.

Sorry about the ants...were they around before or did they just make a line for the tobacco...or were they just on their way somewhere else?

They just kind of made a bolt for the tobacco, kinda awkward. I dont know if it was the flavoring of the tangiers (orange soda) or what, but that was the only thing around and the ants just kind of made it home.

Strangest damned thing...I've seen ants go out of their way to avoid the tobacco...might be the flavoring...but there's no sugar in it, so there's nothing to eat in there...we'd find a roach and encircle them in cooked, unflavored tobacco and watch them spin around trying to get out of the tobacco without touching it.

New statement...all tobaccos may attract insects.

I saw a praying mantis today...rare around these parts.

my friend ordered a hookah from socialsmoke and they give 50 g boxes of layalina complementary...well they arrived and as he says "dude my tobacco came today and fuckin' bugs were crawling out of it when i opened it!" he described them as small cockroach like bugs that could fly....weird shit

social smoke sent him two replacement 250 gram tubs of those flavors smile.gif

Ants are, in fact, lemony in taste. They're acidic as hell, so what you do to get rid of them, before you drive your ass over to the nearest store to get ant traps and buy your dignity back, is spray the infested areas with Windex or some such. Essentially, any household base will get rid of them for the time being.

If they are acidic can you use them to clean your hookah?

I'd love to hear how you'd make ant juice or paste..

Well, you wouldn't make them into juice or paste you'd just give them some sugar for energy and some tiny squeegies! LOL tongue.gif

I tried leaving orange soda tobacco out for hours this afternoon, where the ants could get to it...they seem to have no interest...maybe you have special ants or it was just on the way to something else (or on the way back from). I still have it outside...I'll check it and let you guys know if I have ants in it...

I think the ants just really wanted to piss me off. They knew I bought a phunnel and spent the last of my money of the Tangiers just to try it. I'm still so pissed off I havent smoked since...partially because all I have left is a tad bit of Layliana and Hookah Hookah crap.

I just left mine out on my front porch, orange soda. They didn't even go near it. Something else might have, like.. a raccoon, or... mice.. or spiders.. or a cat... or my dog...or a bird... or flies... but it looked fine when i got too it. Ohh, and i also noticed that theres an ant trap right next to it. Thats ok though. ... You should see these damn ants.. i need to post a picture. I freakin swear they could devour my little kitty. sad.gif . But i love taking a lighter to them and throwing the corpse back where they all can see it.
