An Idea

Recommended Posts

I have recently been experimenting with making my own shisha, and I will be needing some testers soon unless something comes up! Currently i am in the personal testing stages. Here is some background info

100% All natural!
100% Nicotine free
100% Tar Free
100% Quality
100% Free from anything harmful for you! No Carcinogens!

Quality is very important to me, every gram of the shisha is washed and soaked at least 7 times to insure everything is very clean and all impurities are removed. All of my ingredients are purchased in person and quality inspected before any money is even exchanged!

As of right now i only have about 200g of it made but hope to send out samples to a few people via the forums.

I could be wrong about this, but I'm pretty sure that smoking anything is harmful to you.

second that. just for sanity's sake, you probably shouldnt advertise a smoking product as "100% not harmful". merely a technicality though, good luck with the sheesh.

Thanks man biggrin.gif

You are closer than you think with your bark assumition - it is actually sugar beet bark [I believe]
The ingriedents are listed in pig-latin.

I hope nicoyette has some luck... But I have a real strong feeling that 'at least when your smoking tobacco you know what to expect'

But i have no -ing idea what might happen when smoking sugar beet bark for long periods!!!!

Not Possible. When you burn something like tobbacoo you create carcinogens.
Other then that, it sounds inertesting and like a decent idea. Good luck.

After a bit of research on TAR, I found something interesting. Tar, the substance you find in smoking, is not exactly as we imagine tar. We think of tar as the stuff that makes asphalt and what not but tar in smoking is actually an acronym for Total Aerosol Residue. It is a particulate accumulated in one's lungs from smoking but its not exactly what we imagine it to be. Either way, smoking will give you a healthy dose of carcinogens so there is no way that you can claim it otherwise.

BTW, I'd love to be a guinea pig :-P

Anything you add to tobacco is tar. So, unless its pure tobacco leaf, without flavoring, it has tar in it.

How do you remove the non-water soluble "harmful" stuff? How do you know water removes everything?

Why even use tobacco? Why not use corn silk...or wheat husk? They'd all work. Just get the right flavor. Edited by Sonthert

It's impossible to remove the carcinogens and other risks without eliminating charcoal inhalation. Nicotine isn't that much of a risk as far as I know... it's a vasoconstrictor and maybe it can lead to heart disease or something, but I doubt it's anywhere near as risky as what you're breathing in from the burning charcoal. If it weren't for the coal, I don't think we'd really be breathing in anything all that harmful, at least not in terms of long-term affects. All we want in our lungs is glycerin, flavoring, and nicotine... given the flavoring ingredients are GRAS, I wouldn't think there's much risk there.

What we need for safe[r] hookah is an alternative heat source, one that doesn't give off dangerous fumes. I'd pay $500, maybe more. Edited by symptom CY
