Got The New Al Fakher Lemon Coals

Recommended Posts

Wow...this is the biggest bag of coals I've ever seen! I've never used lemon wood coals before. Does anybody have any tips on how to break them up. Should I break them up first or light a chunk and then break it up. I hope these coals work out great. I'm gonna light up a bowl pretty soon.

break em up with a knife or a hammer and screwdriver first. I make a small pile of several pieces and then get em going. The combined heat from several pieces gets themall going faster. With bulk charcoal you have to keep hitting the hookah or they will go out in my experience. I just got a bag of them as well and they smoke great. Wish i had the time to use em in the bar.

Are these coals more harmful than Nours or about the same?

I cant see how they would be any harmful considering they are just natural coal with no starters or binders like finger coals.

How do you know when they are done? I hope its normal for them to catch fire on the electric stove.

When there is no black left on them, and they are glowing red/yellow when you blow on them...
Just cut them up into little blocks or so and put them on the stove for like 5 mins and flip, then another 5 or so and blow on them.. Should be good to go then.
