Saravyn
Alright, I noted in the other topic that a store near my house sells electric heaters. I found a picture of it, and was wondering if anyone has tried them. As for the question about controlling the heat, I believe you can, the controller looks to have a temp knob on it. Alademuerte
That's the same one Hookah-Shisha has on their site.. I was torn between getting that one or the portable gas stove they had...(Dont get the gas stove, it sucks.)
ZenSilk
I htought that everyone was taslking about something that replaces coals, so there is no need to light any, cause you have an elecrtic stove thing that heats your shisha.

Rani
QUOTE (camelflage @ Sep 7 2007, 10:21 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>to save everyone the time, i will go ahead and tell you how this thread ends..elec heater = failyou're welcome. That's because they're going about it all wrong. The only way to make an electric heater for shisha that is balanced and works well would be a bowl that is itself electric. Add a lid to keep the smoke from rising up and you've got it. It would also cook the shisha entirely through from the bottom and sides. Put your shisha into a very hot bowl and smoke it and you'll see what I mean. SafeSearchOff
haha mush, are you sure thats all? theres gotta be more...the problem with electrical heaters is that there is no trigger for the coils to get hotter as you pull. symptom i believe mentioned that a trigger should be added somehow to make it hotter when you pull, and i'd have to agree. then it would be a good product.
