great glavin
I've been into hookah for quite awhile and upon stumbling onto this forum due to my electric heater headache ive seen some fantastic reviews of alot of tobacco that has motivated me to add to the grabbag of fantastic info pwnage. Fumari Cola: Its fumari, its cola, what could go wrong? Alot Unfortunately this flavor is a flat as far as Pepsi and Coca Cola are concerned. This flavor was only mildly resemblant to Cola regardless of the repeated abuse put on my lungs to quest for it. There are much better colas out there. This flavor only recieves my personal rating of: Not worth the money (less then 7 on a 1 to 10 scale) Fumari Lemon Mint: I was doubtful after the cola lamenessness but this flavor is a regular superstar, it has the uber overwhelmingness of the classic Fumari mint but after that dies (rather quickly into the smoking experience (20-30 mins)) you get a refreshingly mild lemon taste that can actually put out for 1 to 2 more hours. A great flavor and very worth the money. Rating: 9 out of 10 Fumari Raspberry: I had my doubts with this one as well but when the plastic tub came off i was suprised. Can get a tad on the harsh side with smoking but is overall a rather powerful flavor, if your looking for raspberry or just curious, this is definitely worth a shot. Rating: 8.5 out of 10 Fumari Vanilla: tasteless, no vanilla undertone Rating: Not worth the money Fumari Cream Soda: even more tasteless then Vanilla Rating: Not Worth the Money Fumari Sour Apple: WOW, what a beast of a flavor, so powerful in the first hits it can even bring the mightiest of shisha connoseiurs to their knees. This flavor can literally tear apart your lungs with sweet apple ownage. This creates a rather interesting but managable situation as its greatest weakness is also its defining strength. The solution i found was to mix it with a sweeter milder apple (two apple or any good apple (romman, havanna two apple) to create a really pleasant smoke. Rating: 7.5 out of 10 alone, 9 out of 10 mixed with another apple or milder flavor. Fumari Mint: This Flavor might as well be named the Menthol Manslaughterer. Its power compared to any other flavor i've ever had is mindblowing. Unfortunaely, this flavor lacks the staying power of a fine shisha and will burn out from superstar rock your lungs mint to a subtle smooth mint. While this isnt too bad it does prove to be a bit disapointing. Still, the flavor at first is overwhelming, the coolness of menthol filling your lungs is so intense you almost get a burning sensation if you toke too much. Rating: A must have for the hookah enthusiast and a great blending flavor 9.5 out of 10. Fumari comments: While not being the most superstar or consistent in quality shisha types, the finer flavors are a must have in hookah experience. The overall texture of this tobacco is nice but the tubs they give you have the problems of tipping over and letting all of the syrup accumulate in one side if they do tip. Ive gotten some funky stems and huge leaf chunks in their tobacco as well, despite this however, with some manufacturing and a careful eye these problems are rather small. Havana Brand: Cappucino: Has a weird taste with a slight coffee aftertaste, not a superstar, but if you have no other outs (i get this from a local tobacco shop, the guy is fantastic.) Rating: 7 out of 10 Menthol: Has a nice mint flavor, but it accumulates to a terrible flavor rather quickly with time. Because of this buzzkill, its worth the money to look elsewhere. Rating: 7 out of 10 Double Apple: A good, sweet apple flavor. probably not the best out there, but very solid, and very good. This tobacco is definitely a good mixer as well. Rating: 8.5 out of 10 More reviews soon: (Al waha, Havana Melon)
cypress
Good reviews. I am looking for a good raspberry but Romman failed me. I might try Fumari's since you gave it a good review.
yashman19
Great reviews, and welcome to the forums! I have yet to try a lemon/mint combo. Everyone I know who smokes raves about how great they smoke togeather. If I can, i might have to pick up some Fumari mint and lemon. I've tried lemon and mint before, but only from Al Waha, and both these flavors are overpoweringly strong, so to mix them might be a disaster. I only use these flavors to mix with other flavors, not each other. Looking forward to future reviews/posts. Keep up the good work!

great glavin
Romman Grape: This romman flavor has a distinguished grape taste and is enjoyable at first, but fades rather quickly into the smoking experience. I would give it only 30 to 45 minutes before it starts tasting rather weird and then the grape flavor disappears altogether. Rating: 7 out of 10 *the bowl i use is a large ceramic clay bowl and i usually use golden coals

great glavin
Havana Orange: i wasnt expecting much, but this flavor was suprisingly better than romman orange. the orange flavor is definitely there, not too sweet, not too powerful, but there. Havana isnt a powerhouse brand though and this flavor is just good enough to be worth your time if you have no where else to buy, or have to choose between romman and this. Rating: 7 out of
Mathazar
Hey man......Great reviews! If you're into Orange, I HIGHLY-RECCOMMEND that you order some HookahHookah Orange. This stuff ROCKS!!! It's the closest thing I've tasted that even comes close to tasting like REAL Orange, and it does it VERY well
great glavin
Nahkla Sweet Melon: I was perhaps expecting too much from this tobacco, but it is by far the best melon flavor i have ever smoked. Tastes just like cantalope and is very smooth, has a definite sweetness as well, but it is mild and masterfully blended into the flavor. I got a monster buzz off of this and lemon, so much so that i had to take a couple of breathers. Nahkla has a rather dry cut to it and there are quite a few stems, but its managable. I say i was expecting too much because i expected an uber fumari-esque flavor from it, and its not quite there. That aside though, it is definitely going to be a part of my regular smoking procession from now on. Rating: 9 out of 10 Nahkla Lemon: I didnt know what to expect from this flavor, and i wasnt very suprised or disapointed about it. Cut was the same as the melon. The flavor was identical to burnt out fumari lemon mint (after the mint flavor wears off). Not that distinctive, but definitely tastable. I should mention I got a monster buzz off of this flavor. A good mixer and flavor to try, but not enough to be considered a first draft pick for my lineup. Rating: 8 out of 10 (Future ratings will include nahkla coffee, vanilla, double apple, and coconut)
great glavin
Fumari sour apple Re-Review- After re-analysing this flavor and smoking it in a normal size hookah a few times, and not the mini one i first tried it in. I've come to the realization that it is actually milder in a full size hookah and extremely enjoyable. Final rating: Every bit of 9 out of 10 by itself and still a fantastic mixer. mushrat
Cool reviews. I happen to be among the few here that will agree with you on the Nakhla melon, or any nakhla for that matter. The melon though, is probably my favorite nakhla flavour.
cypress
I bought some Nakhla cherry and I might be smoking it in the next couple of days. I was able to find a shop that sells it for less than 4 bucks. If I dont like it oh well. I would have smoked it last night but my taste buds are off because I have burned them with hot coffee. Oh well.
great glavin
Nahkla Vanilla- This was the hardest tobacco yet to write a review for. The flavor was slightly there, and was very very smooth. This thing put out smoke like a champ and through the entire smoke i couldnt get it to get harsh even once. The smell is also fantastic as well. Smoke volume and buzz were also fantastic. What made a final decision on this tobacco hard was that its a really good smoking tobacco, but with barely any flavor. Rating: 7.5 out of 10 Nahkla Coconut- Smells like suntan lotion. Not a pronounced coconut flavor, more of an aftertaste. Smoked well and not much harshness here, but not much pleasure either. Rating 7 out of 10 Nahkla Double Apple- I love licorice hookah flavors, but the famous aniseed taste in this tobacco was rather disgusting. Its a very powerful, very pronounced, very sweet apple, but it wasnt something for me. Slight harshness and good smoke time, but this flavor didnt leave me satisfied, it left me wanting to load up some nahkla sweet melon instead. Rating: 7.5 out of 10 Amir cherry- WOW, the smell when i took the cap off of this was fantastic. This tobacco had an awesome cut to it, very little stems. I loaded a bowl with this and puffed away for an hour and a half, and this tobacco kept up with me the entire way. Awesome flavor, no harshness, good smoke volume, this flavor leaves me satisfied in all aspects. This flavor is a must have. Rating: 9.5 out of 10 Al Fahker Cola- Smells good, and has a fantastic cut to the tobacco. Loaded up a bowl and smoked it, relatively satisfied. Has a medium strength cola flavor that stays with you the entire way, but my problem was with the seeming taste of it, it was like someone tossed a saltshaker into my glass of coke. This cola had a slight salty taste to it and was a buzzkill on my high expectations for it. Mild harshness, good smoke volume. jmexx
My last order of ma'assel I took 4 boxes of Al Amir and one box of Al Waha. The Al Amir is very juicy, very flavourful and lasts forever. The Al Waha looks more like tabacco, cooks a bit quicker and isn't as good as Al Amir. Those are really the only two brands I've smoked, aside from the Romman ma'assel I got with my last hookah. I think southsmoke.com still has a sale on their Al Amir. Good luck and happy smoking.Jon
great glavin
al waha cappucino, 5 star, lemon, and cola are all fantastic flavors. I especially like 5 star ill post my reviews for them, plus reviews for fahker mint, apple, and strawberry soon.
great glavin
"Golden" Al Fahker Mint- Fantastic cool mint flavor that lasts through the whole bowl. Not as overwhelming as fumari mint (if fumari mint had an overwhelmingness level of 10, this would hit a 8 on a 1 to 10 scale) but still VERY powerful. The cut to this tobacco is fantastic and it isnt runny at all (the tubs suck though, caps like to pop off.). Rating: 9.5 out of 10 Al fahker Strawberry: Good strawberry flavor, but not uber overwhelming. Good smoke volume, good cut, great smell. This is a great smoke, and a really unique flavor, id really like to blend it with raspberry sometime soon. rating: 8.5 out of 10 Al waha Cola- Better cola taste than Al fakher, but less powerful. Has endurance and will smoke well the whole way through though. Typical al waha cut. Rating: 8.5 out of 10 Al waha 5 star- The mixed reviews ive seen on this brand have made me nervous, and so have the weird descriptions on its flavor. (people seem to make it out to be the everlasting gobstopper of hookah tobacco flavors, changing through the smoke. Good berry flavor, and super smooth. I love this flavor, a must have for a tobacco collection. Rating: 9 out of 10 Nahkla Arabic Coffee- BLECHH!!!!!!!!! JAYSUS WHAT IS THIS!>!!?!?!??!!?!?1 OH GOD!!! (static) Seriously, this flavor blows, smells like a skunk, and smokes like one too. Rating: Not worth the money (less than 7 on a 1 to 10 scale).
HookahCulture
Ya in my opinion the Al Waha 5-star is the best kept secret on the market today. I get 250g tubs for 5 bucks at my local store. As far as Fumari flavors, I tried the guava last year and it was AWESOME! It's also part of the ultimate mix ever, which was 50/50 with AFGS Eskandrani. Don't forget to clean your hookah and hose when changing flavor groups! Nothing sucks more than having a nice-smelling flavor in anticipation, then smoking it through a mint, cappucino or anisey double apple flavored hose! I only smoke fruits so I'm pretty safe there..... It's a good idea to have different hoses for different flavor groups, and good lounges will do this as well. Hoping for a Havana Eskandrani flavor review soon.........?
brother812
Al Waha 5-star- i had a 50g box of this i have been smoking off and on the past week and to me the flavor reminds me of ....well a berry scented urinal cake. you know how when you walk in a public restroom and the disinfectant they use is so strong you can taste it. that is what it reminds me of with that odd undertone flavor almost like a chemical flavor. HookahCulture
I like it better than the Al Fakher mixed fruits...... You might give that a try as well, but I think the AF version tastes totally fake.
brother812
don't get me wrong i did enjoy the smoke. it had that punch you in the face flavor unlike some of the others i have tried that just have a hint of flavor. 5-star is probably a flavor i will keep on hand i was just saying what it kinda reminded me of. great glavin
Al waha Cappucino- This stuff has a strong coffee smell, typical al waha cut. The flavor is a bit mild has a definite coffee feel and is the strongest coffee clone ive tried yet, likes to get harsh though, i think it could perform better when smoked through coffee. Overall i suppose its ok, but not really that great. Still looking for a superstar coffee flavor. Rating: 7.5 out of
malignity
Al-Fakher Strawberry Wonderful light strawberry taste, smooth and invigorating. The tobacco is so 'wet' sometimes with flavor that I question how it has a capability of even lighting, but it always seems to be wonderful. Definately my favorite flavor thus far. Rating: 9 - 10. Sultan Strawberry When I got this stuff, I really didn't think a dollar difference in price would make that much of a difference in flavor. I opened up the bag it was in to put it in the canister, and the smell was rather... old. While the date was still good, and the seal on the bag was unopened, I couldn't help but notice the brown color. (Strawberry tobacco should be red, right?) After smoking a bowl or two, I pitched the stuff, as it was a waste of my money. Never again will I buy this brand, being that I've tried 2 different types of tobacco from it, and both were lousy. Rating: 3 - 10. Sultan Peach I actually liked this stuff at first. After about 5-6 bowls however, I started to realize that I really actually didn't like the taste. It was a dark brown in color, and didn't taste much like peach at all, or even smell like it. This was my first attempt at buying Sultan brand tobacco, and I was quite disappointed. Rating: 3-10. Mathazar
HookahCulture, I'm going to buy some Havana flavors around the 23rd of this month, and Eskandarani Apple will be one of them. I'm also going to order some of that Grapefruit from Shisha-Emirates despite the rather large price of $22.50, which isn't much different than shelling-out $20 for a 250g container of Romman. I figure it's worth a try since I've never seen or tasted any Grapefruit flavors before. I would imagine it would be comparable to the Fumari Guava you raved about. My reviews are always brief and to the point, and I usually order Overnight Shipping, so you can probably expect a review around the 24th of August
