SafeSearchOff Posted September 10, 2007 Share Posted September 10, 2007 merh, cingular has spotty service at best in my area. the iphone technically already had gps... maps.google.com or mapquest.com...whatever, i took the plunge for the ipod. i had to buy a new mp3 player anyway, and with no new promising on the zune2.0 for awhile, i just HAD to have my music back. not having an mp3 player for 5 months was terrible. SafeSearchOff Posted September 10, 2007 Share Posted September 10, 2007 yeah i have a good 50gigs of music so for awhile the order was sitting her on my computer filled out, but i never hit enter.but i finally came to this reasoning: so i have 30gigs of music. how often do i f*cking listen to bands like Death From Above or like frieking Beethoven. Only if i ever have some1 looking at my music and is like "you have death from above! swweeet, lets listen to them", and we play like 1 song, and that happens maybe 2 or 3 times a year with probably 50 or more bands. so just dont add in those bands...as for the review - ill add it to my blog (plug... I promised myself i wouldn't get into this but, I can get a a mp3 player which can hold 80 gigs of anything and a cheap ass phone that will last me for fucking ever for the same price of what you're paying for the ipod touch. Do you really go to youtube hourly and blog or what ever the fuck you do on youtube? Internet? I can get that anywhere. Actually i can get a laptop for 300 that can hold like 60 gigs of anything (Music, movies, games, internet), i can download skype (Phone capabilities), and go anywhere i want. I can go to starbucks and get free internet there and watch youtube videos all i damn want. Honestly you're going to be paying a fuck ton of money for a beautiful phone with shit you can already do with what you have.-End Flame-I own an ipod but i just hate the iphone/ipod touch. I don't need to listen to music at all times, the only times when I would use an ipod would be times when I really shouldn't in the first place, like in class, during meetings, etc. Also, 16gb is a joke for that kind of device. Call me when I can get an iphone that does everything it does now, except better, with a ton more storage, replaceable battery, removable storage, and more for under $200.
