The shorter the hookah the more smoke you get. One has the auto seal valves the other doesn't. I'd go for the one with the auto seal since it makes things easier when you are smoking with a big group.

From the looks of the picture the Odyssey is slightly shorter, they don't give an actual height in the description so I'm not sure. Both use the MYA acrylic base with the screw on top, and both stems have the ability to use MYA's ball bearing autoseal valves if you decided to purchase them or say downgrade your three hose to a single hose when smoking alone, which I HIGHLY suggest!

I'm not exactly sure what glz88 was getting at with the shorter the hookah the more smoke idea. I think that the ammount of smoke difference between two different size stems is completely negligable since the only smoke you inhale is what's in the base and they use the EXACT same base. In this case, the longer the stem the cooler the smoke, smoother the pull, and more unstable the hookah becomes.

I think between the two choices I'd get the first one since you know the height and 26" is the perfect height for a hookah in my opinion.

I have the Odyssey, and its great. But i was actually thinking of getting the torrent. the only difference is the height, and the torrent has different base options. Honestly i'd go acrylic, both have autoseal. And i'd say the Odyssey is more sturdy, unless you got the torrent with acrylic base (which i'd recommend).

Also i agree with a previous post, about the height of 26", that is perfect. The torrent looks very elegant as well, and with a Mya acrylic base, you canty go wrong. (The Mya acrylic bases are only like 20 bucks on myasaray.com, so if it happens to break, its cheap to replace)
