New Hookah!?!?

Recommended Posts

Well, we have The Snake as one of the house hookahs where I work so I've had the opportunity to smoke out of it, and I have to admit, I wasn't as impressed by its function as I was by its appearance. In spite of cleaning it repeatedly and blowing through the bottom of the bowl as a last-ditch effort, the draw was almost impossible due to the ridiculously narrow air passages and faulty auto-seal mechanisms. People have come in asking for "that other hookah that was here, not those in the corner," being my Hafa that I brought in once to let people experience Tangiers blueberry.

And in spite what the website says, it is NOT a genuine Syrian, it exclusively uses female-fitting bowls. Same goes for The Glyph, which we also have as a house hookah.

That egyptian doesnt have autoseal. On another note, get a syrian. basically the same discussion as with the other member. Toss up between a syrian or a MYA, and I will say Syrian. For reviews on a particularly nice one, here they are:

I am not a member at HP, but as I was making my purchase I was reffered to that buyer. Read carefully, that review on that Syrian, and you will see why so many people say Syrian over MYA. Good Luck. Edited by mushrat

If you aren't a member, how did you read anything on HP? They have it set up so you have to be a registered member to even read anything on the forum. Methinks I smell a rat. Edited by mushrat

I DO own this hookah, along with a HAFA, and I must say....the snake is right up to par with it!
I love my hafa so so much, but the syrian is so beautiful. The ONLY thing you might have to do, is drill bigger holes threw the valves like I did, but other than that 10-10!

The only problem with multihose MYAs is the common chamber. The hose ports, rather than going to the smoke directly, they all share a chamber where smoke goes into. It looks really cool when inhaling cause it makes a little cyclone/vortex however there is a great downside. It does not allow for easy draws with two, let alone three, simultaneous draws. Pretty much everyone has to go one at a time. If you can live with that, that Acrylic will serve you well. I converted my Acrylic to two hose and I've noticed the aforementioned problem but it's merely an inconvenience than a problem.
