Afzal Grape

I just got 250 gr of Grape Afzal, Im trying it for the 1st time.
The problem is, the smell has put me off smoking it and it just smells like sour vinegar.No grape smell at all.

When you inhale a good nosefull it smells so bitter it makes me shudder.
I am wondering if it has gone bad,? the date on the box says sept 05 .

Can anyone advise me if this is actually how it supposed to smell?

My friend bought some Grape Al Waha and i HATED the smell.. made me almost want to vomit.. we tried to smoke it alone but i couldnt do it, we had to mix it with something and it was.. okay.. i just dont like grape period i guess lol.

I actually quite like Al Fakher grape, this stuff though, just smells like straight up vinegar.like a real bad
red wine.
There is no grape smell present at all, I really think this is not how its supposed to be.
and as I said, it makes you shiver the smell is so overpowering.

Should I just send it back? or bin it?
I dont think I can get the courage to smoke this shit at all.
Does anyone else have an opinion of this brand and flavour?

Check the reviews. Afzal gets mixed comments. It's not bad but it's not generally thought of as top notch either.

I've found many grapes smell funny..But taste ok.

Sept 2005 is pushing the 2 year envelope but it shouldn't have "turned" I wouldn't think, but that's just my personal feeling. Give it a try already, what do you have to loose but you lunch?

I understand grape can be hit and miss whatever brand it may be, it seems to me, its like banana
in that I think its pretty hard to get the flavour right.

I did read the Afzal reviews beforehand and by the reviews it didnt sound that bad to me.
This is just awful to smoke too, its just very sour vinegar tobacco!

Its not much of a problem as I have plenty of other stuff to smoke and as it was cheap
it wont hurt the wallet too much either.
