anddy
So I just passed by this site and they had a bunch of hookahs for 25 bucks up until the 16th. I wanted to know if these would be worth buying? If they are good at all, I don't want to pass up a well priced hookah. At the moment, I just have a QT, so....Should I? olooko
remember they are egyption hookahs. That means they won't be perfect and finding parts would be harder. If you find a good one then your in luck.

Rani
QUOTE (anddy @ Sep 14 2007, 02:42 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>So I just passed by this site and they had a bunch of hookahs for 25 bucks up until the 16th. I wanted to know if these would be worth buying? If they are good at all, I don't want to pass up a well priced hookah. At the moment, I just have a QT, so....Should I?My very first hookah was one of that class - the Sahara Filigree. It's a half-way decent piece that makes a good toss in the car and go hang with friends hookah. You won't become emotionally attached and you won't get the best smoke out of them. My suggestion is to not spend the $24.99 but set it aside and add to it until you can afford a decent full size hookah. I still have the Sahara for testing small batches of new flavors, or tossing in the car to go hang with friends. But I also have three full size hookahs - KM tri-metal, Kareem Syrian, and a less expensive 28" Sangria from HookahCompany that is my everyday smoke because it's quite good for an inexpensive pipe. All three of the full size pipes are so much better than the Sahara that they aren't even remotely in the same class. So if you want a cheapie that you can toss around go for it. But if you want a quality pipe you're going to love and even get emotionally attached to, save the money, add to it and get what you really want.'Rani
New2Hookah
Actually they are very good sellers, not too sure why you\'d say they are bad. I have seen Several people on here that have ordered from them and are more than satisfied, which leads to tell me that you have a bias on these guys...With that said, yes, go for this hookah. They are the same hookahs HC is selling for $45.00, which is the retail price on JandR\'s site anyway. Like you said, their sale only goes til the 16th...take advantage. They are not the fatutas, as they are larger. If I did my homework, those were like 15\" hookahs. These are 22\". Big difference. Dont hesitate to get this deal if you like it, I can attest to that site and their service as well as several other members here. If all else fails, contact them and see for yourself...it wont hurt? I consider them to be of low moral character and untrustworthy by their actions here. Trustworthy people don't go sneaking around trying to sell their goods and they don't behave like they behaved. So how many times have YOU ordered from them? I wouldn't put too much of MY reputation on the line for a company I'VE never actually ordered from. FURsAKeN
I believe you get what you pay for when it comes to pipes, if your gonna go for it try spending more for better quality. I learned the hard way with my first cheap knock off.. Meh, just personal experiance.
kornkitten42
Personally, If you have your eye on a particular hookah, i'd go for it. I think that getting a nice big rig, is better than getting 2 smaller cheaper rigs. I'd personally save that money for a better , bigger, longer lasting, hookah. I know how it is to want to get started with your own stuff right away, but why not practice a little patience and do it right? SafeSearchOff
i have one of the larger egyptians from jimmy, i believe a 32" or something like that. works great, just a bit of a learning curve. gotta do things a certain way to get super thick clouds.edit: DOES work great though, it's my "travel" hookah, since i don't want to risk breaking my more expensive ones. its a great device. Dunkel!
They are the exact same hookahs HC sells for a much higher price. Take advantage of the sale and get one. IMHO better to pay $24.99 for an Egyptian hookah than nearly 50 for the ever exploding Mya QT. BTW I have made purchases from J & R Hookahs and received great customer service, speedy delivery, items were packaged well and the products were the exact items I ordered. anddy
Actually:"Because of the high demand in this special, I have extended it to December 25th, This doesn't mean you should take your time in purchasing one. Once they are sold out, their gone. The inventories are true to what we have in stock." I better order one quick. Now it's down to the colors. I have a hard time deciding, you should see me in a restaurant.

anddy
Is there really any difference between the 'white and blue hookah' and the 'blue and silver fancy genie hookah'? Because I narrowed it down to that.EDIT: Wow $17 shipping..? How much is it usually? Edited September 17, 2007 by anddy
