phantom package

Recommended Posts

So I woke up and checked my email this morning to find a package
notification for a 9lb package from Social Smoke that I definately did
not order.  I checked my bank accounts and credit cards to see if
someone was commiting fraud against me, but I was safe.  So now I
have 9lbs of who-knows-what coming in the mail on friday.  Im
kinda hoping its a new hookah, even though I know in good conscience I
cant really keep it.....

The only way it would be fraud is if they are shipping it to an address
other than yours. It is verry odd that you didnt pay for it. It may be
possible that you are getting something as gift and they know your
address and they linked that to your email notification.

Thats what I thought at first, Cypress, because I did just place a very
large order with them, but 9lbs is a lot of anything.  I mean, I
could see getting a few 50g boxes maybe, but we'll find out on
Friday!  I love surprises.

Yeah, I agree with your guess MonkeyBiz.  I think getting the tobacco would be a lot cooler and more useful, but I wouldnt complain about either.  Im just gonna go ahead and assume they are the nicest company ever, or I won something.

Now, just for the record, I'd keep it.

Well the day finally arrived.  I opened my mystery package to find....
THIS:

List price at Social Smoke $89.95 on sale for $59.95.  Complete with all the accessories, coals, and 2 50g boxes of shisha.
Its much nicer than my mini..... but I still feel sorta bad...  Should I be a good person here?  Or has it been written off by the company already?

Are you kidding me? Kepp it. Do you know how much that set them back?
Probably 10 bucks, and to a large company, thats nothing. I know you
might feel morally bad, but when they find out that they sent a package
somewhere where its not supposed to be, they say, ohh well. There not
gunna give a sh*t.

Don't feel bad, I wouldn't.. ;)
