Childhood Memories

Ahhhh, the days of not giving a care whats going on in the world.. Got anything in your childhood you remember? Maybe something from your pre-teen years?

I remember waking up every early saturday; just to catch Fraggle Rock. Having to sit through firggen Whiney the Pooh. Also the trips to walmart every sunday with my grandma to buy two GI-JOES. I wish I held onto those bastards instead of blowing them up, melting them, and loosing them in the sandbox only to find a cat turd instead of where my GI-JOE once was. Then when we could afford new sand we would finally find the rusted, faded, jointed soilders.. Damn it.
Sadly I got my NES when I was five and the coolest thing was duck hunt and watch the cat try and chase the birds around the tv.. sit the cat infront of the tv, and play duck hunt with the cat.
Wolfenstein 3D: Spear of Destiny on my old 386i was what got me into FPS gamming.. good ol days... happy.gif
Model rockets.. thoes got boring after the 5th time.. so we ducktaped the pad to a 2'' PVC and stuffed the rocket in it.. tried to hit low flying aircraft trying to land at the private airport 3 blocks away.. Yeah that was the worst idea ever now that I think back to it.. could of caused a crash or gotten thrown in juvie.. eh..

Memories...

I remember when i was about 12 going to work with my Dad. Taking a huge diesel battery and installing it into a train to then pull the wiring train out and run an inspection.

Working in Norwich crown point depot. Other kids dad's had company cars. Mine had a company train!

Drunken war stories when camping and stupid weekends.

Good times. I miss him.

LOL LEGOS!

Anyone have a problem with your parents getting pissed because you would not pick up a few and they would step on them.. My mom got fed up she would just vacuum them up and make a racket going through the machine.
I never thought it was a big deal until I had to watch my buddies kids, I stepped on one with a bare foot. That little bastard brick almost brought me to tears.
