Ocrap
Has anyone purchased Nours lately? They are shaped different (triangles) and smell different when lighting. They don't smell bad or taste bad, but they are different. They provide better heat management do to the flat surface of the coal, but they don't last as long as they used to. Before it was about 35-45 mins; now its like 25-35 mins. Has anyone else experienced this with the triangles, or am I just trippin? Don't get me wrong, Nours are still my favorite coals. I WANT THE FINGERSIf you are referring to theHookah.com, yes that's where I got them from. I got 24 of them!!!! Don't get me wrong, I think it's still a great deal even though they are triangles. Still the number one coal in my book. I had the biggest smile on my face driving home from their wherehouse in Glendale. Then, I opened the box and that smile went from happy to "Oh Sh*t, Triangles!!" I felt like crap for 15 mins but then I tried them out again [I tried them before. I actually have 6 more bags, but I wanted to get the round ones. So I actually have 30 bags ] and they were still great. Smelled and tasted different but not in a bad way. I just wished that they lasted as long as the round ones. If they did, I would have no need to complain. Actually, I would probably like them better, maybe. When I bought Nours from theHookah before, they were round. Now they're triangle. When I got them from HookahCompany, they were triangle as well. Don't worry, they still work well with the phunnel. BrotherBuford
I just got a bag of Nours from hookahcompany.com, but I haven't opened the bag yet. I'll check when I get home.

BrotherBuford
I checked the Nour bag I just received a few days ago, and the coals are round fingers.
mushrat
The round ones must be from older shipments. Do they still have small rocks mixed in with them. That was always the weirdest thing about then, the pebbles in the ash...Im using the square Exoticas fingers and i have to admit the shape does decrease roll aways. joseph*
There are a few small pebbles, but they don't seem to interfere with the session. Al-ajdad are the only coals I will use any more.
