Average Life Of Shisha.

Recommended Posts

I've seen dates printed on boxes / tubs indicate a 2 year span.
Al Waha used to print the dot matrix dates of manufacture and expiration (dunno if they still do, I don't buy it) on the tubs, while on Al Fakher boxes only the date of manufacture is given.
So, I'd give a safe 2 years anyway.
I've had stuff stretch beyond that, but not by much! It starts to smell funky, you'll notice when it's not good anymore.

Wow, I am beginning to think I smoke too much...

I have never had a 250 tub last for more than a month. I usually don't smoke alone though, so that's probly part of it.

I don't really have any useful information beyond that, but I do have a question. How does tobacco that is "preserved" in molasses or honey go bad? Will it still begin to rot and decay like any other plant? I'm assuming it does, but also wondering if the stuff used to make the shisha affects it too.
