Zildjian
So my hose is pretty much shot (moment of silence). I am not sure what my model is, it looks pretty egyptian to me, but i could be wrong. What i guess the question is, do most hoses fit all hookahs?? Also, anyone know of a good place to buy a replacement hose in the Northern Virginia area or do i have to order online??ThanksEvan
HookahCulture
Hookah hoses are pretty much standard.First advice is to seek out a middle eastern grocery store in your area.Next is to look online, but get WASHABLE hoses.
iamscott06
Or you could just mod it and make your own.. pop the ends of and stick some clear tubing to the two ends and BAM! Theres a thread here somewhere with pics and stuff
RayVer
oh man just make sure it's washable! Mya washable hoses are awesome. Don't get those "cool" looking hoses with all the design stuff on them... most of them turn into junk when you wash them because the plastic inside breaks up

Ensure you dry the hose after each session. And/or Get a nammor hose or a 'home depot' hose.JD

MechAnt
Its funny that MYA says their hoses are washable because, when I took apart mine, it is indeed wrapped in plastic but its on the OUTSIDE of the metal coils and there is nothing preventing the humid smoke from contacting the metal coil. True washable hoses are those that prevent the humid smoke from EVER contacting the metal coils and the only instances of that I've ever seen are Nammor hoses and homemade "Home Depot" hoses. Bryantos
I suggest making your own hose. Its easy, quick, simple, and pretty cheap depending on where you get the materials. You can find the post here.
RayVer
I didn't know the mya washables hoses are known to having so much trouble. I got one a year ago and I wash it often and have not had problems with it. I'm not talking about a regular mya hose but specifically the washable series which have a stainless steel coil with plastic wrap. How do you guys 'dry' the inside of your hoses? garykainz
get the nammor... change your life... seriously. it's great. but if you're in a bind, mod your own. get some vinyl tubing and keep the old hose ends. check the topic about it. they work awesome. better than my original cobra (someone please ban cobra hoses from existence... thank you)

leadpipecinch21
if i recall correctly, you go to mason? take fairfax county parkway north to 50 west. catch 606 and you'll eventually find the mya saray shop...get yourself one of the wide hoses, and you'll be very happy.
