I have been useing these for almost a year, and now all my new boxes, when I lite the coals they split in half. lazria
Not sure about the "easy lite" brand (the red and black box, right?) But I was using the Quick Lite Sultan brand of Japanese tabs and they had started doing the same thing. 2 different batches, 2 months apart and they both would split after cooking. Makes me wonder if one "knock-off" isn't a rebox of another? Sorry dude, don't know if it's just an issue or as JD said, someone (like the post man) could have played football with them. xpimpitox
i usually have good experience with these, i prefer canarys but the price and great deal on SS (3 boxes for $16) makes me get this. but i have had 1 box outta the many i purchase do the same thing. probably bad batches perhaps my current box is excellent. where did u get em from? boulderkid303
Want the best coals on the market? Get sultans. The blue box. They come in the square tablets like japs, but are a little bigger. I had one fully lit and droped it on the floor, it didn't even break! If you can find em, get em!!!
